The world around Sasshi and Arumi slowly faded to blackness. They each stood together, holding thier hands and wishing that Oni wouldn't have sent them out of thier world. The world faded back into focus after a couple of minutes and they ended up in a familiar market place. The two were in the RPG Abenobashi Arcade, the first world they went to the last time they went on an adventure. Everything and everyone looked the same...but slightly older-looking and there were large glowing crystals floating in front of the inns....much like those saving crystals in Final Fantasy VII. The pair found themsleves right in the center of the Abenobashi, surrounded by booths that sold weapons and magical items.
"Not this world again..." sighed Arumi.
"Hey, its no biggie" said Sasshi. "all we need to do is defeat the "Evil Lord" again and we'll be able to return to the real world. Let's see if I can't get a breast-inflation sword like I had last time...I'm gonna get it and use it on Mune-Mune and..." A solid wack from a paper fan ended Sasshi's preverted speech.
"This time, try not to die every time we meet up with a monster" said Arumi. "we don't have any money, anyway"
"The legendary hero has returned!" yelled a familiar voice from a booth. Sasshi and Arumi looked around and spotted Arumi's dad riding on a horse, heading towards the pair.
"Yep, I'm the legendary hero that defeated that 'Evil Lord' for ya last time" said Sasshi, putting on a brave face while Arumi rolled her eyes. Sasshi had died like 1,500 times during the course of thier adventure.
"Oh, legendary hero" said Arumi's dad in that faux French accent of his. "we need your help once again, I'm afraid. The Evil Dark Queen Mune-Mune has stolen the king's son and several of Wiorth's potions"
"Who's this Wiorth guy?" asked Sasshi.
"The king's magician, highly skilled in potion lore" said Arumi's dad. "the king offers 120,000 gold pieces for reward for returning his son and the potions to him. Will you help us, O brave hero?!"
"Well, that depends" said Sasshi. "see, I spent all the money you gave me before and I need more to get weapons and armor so I can feel up..err...defeat the evil queen Mune-Mune"
"Of course" said Arumi's dad, and he threw a sack of money at Sasshi. "here's another 800 gold pieces. Use it well"
"And you better not spend all of it like last time" said Sasshi to Arumi.
"Whatever" said Arumi.
