Terrans and the Ctarl-Ctarl are at peace, for the most part. Years ago, the two races had fought several battles against one another. Ctarl-Ctarls viewed Terrans as a weak species, and for that reason, they showed no mercy to Terrans in the battlefield. After many battles, the two races eventually signed a peace treaty. Curiously enough, the peace movement started with a Ctarl-Ctarl and a Terran getting together. The names of those two are lost to history, but romance between the species have been--for the most part--icy. Oh, there was the odd Ctarl-Ctarl who fell in love with a Terran...but that didn't happen often, if at all.
No Terran had served on a Ctarl-Ctarl vessel before. There really wasn't a law that prohibited Terrans from joining a crew of Ctarl-Ctarl vessel either. Terrans were usually reserved for food on Ctarl-Ctarl vessels. Perhaps Aisha could pull a few strings and let Jimmy join her crew...she didn't care for the rest of the Outlaw Star crew, but she wanted her Jimmy on her crew. It would be a wise choice. As she thought about it, Aisha found herself getting more aroused than ever. She slapped herself mentally and looked over at Jim.
"Let's go" said Jim.
For the space of a heartbeat, Aisha considered leaving Jim out here in the corridor. She had planned on going on it the cell and feast on Gene Starwind. But, she had reconsidered it. She would have time to eat Gene later. Together, Jim and Aisha went to the holding cells.
The holding cells held Terrans of every age and creed. Most of the cells were empty, but some of them held a few Terrans. Aisha and Jim walked until they came upon the cell labeled C-3. In the cell was the crew of the Outlaw Star. Gene was pacing around the cell, Melfina was standing idly in a dark corner and Suzuka was lying on the cot in the cell. Gene had longer hair than Aisha remember, but Gene still looked the same as ever; he had perhaps two or four new scars on his arms that Aisha couldn't remember seeing...but that had been four years ago. Gene stopped pacing when he heard two sets of footsteps coming.
"AISHA?!" cried Gene, his voice echoing around the holding cell. Melfina snapped out of her nap and looked over at Aisha and Jim. Suzuka regarded Jim and Aisha with an expressionless face. "I should've known I ran into you again. Are you gonna let us out of here?"
"Not so fast, Gene Starwind" said Aisha, her voice filled with mild amusement.
"Jim, come on" said Gene. "tell Aisha to release us. She'll listen to you"
"Aisha, do you think you could release them?" asked Jim.
"Maybe" said Aisha, and smiled cruelly at Gene.
Mufaasa Moonclaw walked into the holding cell that Aisha had left opened behind her. Mufaasa was going to see what was happening to the Terran that was with Commander Clanclan. He had seen Aisha and Jim walking down together in a corridor, where he had ducked into a sizable bathroom. He then decided to follow the commander and the Terran. Were they friends? That thought made Mufaasa chuckle. Of course the commander wasn't friends with the Terran; she was simply letting the Terran into a false sense of security. Mufaasa only saw Terrans as mere snacks. Such a weak species didn't deserve to live on; it was only fitting that a strong species should wipe out a weak one. Mufaasa sneaked on the commander and the Terran and listened what was happening.
Aisha's ears twitched, and she turned around to face Mufaasa. Jim also turned around.
"And what do you want, Mr. Moonclaw?" asked Aisha.
Mufaasa paused before saying.....
