Shinji didn't recongize the voice that had spoken. It was a female voice...it was a musical-sounding voice that made Shinji feel even more secure than he was. The stomach of the person he was in gurgled and groaned..but still he wasn't hurt by the stomach acid around him. The last thing that Shinji remembered was seeing the face of Rei/Lilith...and he wasn't 100% sure about that! He remembered having the convertsation with the Angel about his fetishes, but he had no memory of what came before that. It was as if those memories were from another lifetime...if that were possible.
"No, I don't" said Shinji aloud.
"You were a little...beaten up when I found you" said the female voice. "just a kid by himself in an alley. I came along and you begged me to take you with me...and I said 'The only way I'm going to take you is in my stomach' and you said 'Fine! Just eat me and take me away from NERV!' So...I ate you"
"But how can I still be alive?!" asked Shinji.
"Eh?!" asked the female voice.
"How's come I'm not being digested?"
"You WANT to be digested?" asked the voice. "listen, honey...I just don't digest everyone that I eat. It's nothing personal, you understand..its just that my body is my temple"
Shinji was beyond confused now.
"Hello?" asked the voice.
"I just don't remember last night.." said Shinji.
"Well, I'm sorry for that" said the female voice. "listen...would you mind staying in there for a little while longer? It's seven in the morning...I don't get up this early usually"
