As tempting as it was to keep Shinji tiny for the day, Misato knew that the sooner the problem was solved, the better. Smiling at Shinji, she walked up to the sink, answering "As soon as we get you smelling nice again."
Shinji grinned, letting Misato lather him up with soap and wash him clean of the scent of her behind. A few minutes later, he was wet, happy, and smelling like roses.
"So, should we wait for Rei and Asuka?"
"They might be a bit, but it doesn't make sense to go without them."
"How long is a bit?" Shinji asked, unaware of what had transpired with his two classmates.
"Oh, about a few hours, my guess."

"So, how does this work?" Misato asked. Her, Rei, and Ritsuko were positioned safely behind a Plexiglases wall, looking in on an empty room where Asuka and Shinji were waiting on the floor. While Shinji seemed relaxed, waving to Misato, Asuka's expression was blank and vapid, no signs of any sort of emotion. Shinji had even gone so far as to ask what was wrong with her, but she remained silent. He figured that whatever Rei had done must have been incredibly kinky to break the iron-willed German pilot.
"Well, quite simply, we're going to readjust their AT fields back to normal. They were compacted when they shrunk inside the giant Rei, so it's merely an issue with reversing those effects.
"Are you sure it will work?" Misato asked.
"Everything should be just fine, give or take a few inches. This will be a good test run, considering all the incidents of late growth spurts around the city. Speaking of which..."
"What?" Misato asked. "Fishing for compliments?"
"Oh, and here I thought you'd notice the extra three inches I got."
"I noticed something else over the phone," Misato joked. Ritsuko nearly gritted her teeth until Shinji's voice squeaked.
"Um, so, when are we beginning?"
"Right now," Ritsuko replied into a microphone, flipping a switch. "Just relax, and soon everything should be normal again."
