Shinji's jaw was ready to hit the floor when he looked at who walked in on them. He wasn't sure what he felt more, disappointment from having his lovemaking interrupted, or sheer terror. The person in question's jaw was already one step ahead of him, however.
"Shinji! Oh my God, Rei?!"
"A...Asuka!" Shinji stammered, his cool, collected mood shattered. "I can..."
"Shut up baka!" Asuka ordered. Shinji obliged, standing up from the couch and quickly looking for his pants. Rei followed suit, but didn't even bother trying to cover her shame from the fuming redhead. If Shinji could do anything to try and break the suffocating tension, he would, but considering Asuka's mood, he was more than likely better off shutting his mouth.
"Asuka," Rei began in her usual monontone voice, not afraid at all about her reaction, "Shinji was merely helping me with questions I had about sexual intercourse."
"He showed you every detail, huh?" Asuka asked, partially in disbelief over how blunt Rei could have been over what had just occurred. No excuses, no lies, just the straight, honest truth.
Shinji was just hoping Misato bought her gun to the office at NERV today. At least, that's what he was thinking when his eyes weren't poking out of his forehead at what Rei had just confessed to Asuka.
"Yes, he did. In fact, the experience was so pleasurable that I wanted to experience it again. However..."
"However?!" Asuka growled, a vein ready to pop from her forhead. Shinji was ready to run, but he only got three steps off before she noticed.
"Baka, don't even THINK about leaving. I'm nowhere near done with you."
"Earlier, I bought up the idea of Shinji satisfying my curiosities alongside Misato, however, she had suggested that I do this with you instead."
Now it was Asuka's turn to be stunned. Her rage was quickly replaced with confusion. "I'm sorry?"
"Shinji is quite able when it comes to sex. Perhaps he could satisfy both of us, since it's obvious you want him."
Asuka didn't say anything, only walking towards Misato's room. "Hold on, I have to get something. Both of you stay right there."
Rei stood still, not understanding what Rei meant. Shinji stood still as well, but under his breath, kept muttering "Please don't get the gun," over and over.
