Then again, Haruko might be lying about the whole thing. How could a person go up the Hersey Highway? The intense look that Haruko was now giving Naota didn't convince him she was telling the truth at all. Haruko had made Naota's life hell the very day she had arrived in Mabase. Sure, Haruko was hot and everything, but she was known to lie if it suited her.
