“I think this has gone on long enough.”
Primaron looked down at Tenchi, who looked back at him with a brash smirk. Suddenly, Primaron was looking up at Tenchi. Kiyone’s body reverted back to normal size, while Tenchi’s shot up ten-feet. Horror covered Primaron’s face as Tenchi placed his huge hands down on his shoulders, keeping him still. From behind the trees, Washu walked out followed by Mihoshi, a normal sized Mihoshi. Seeing the blond woman back to normal made Primaron realize what had happened.
“She gave you the Torn!” He hissed in disbelief. The only way to transfer the Torn after it fully lodges itself into a host is for the host to transfer it to another willing host. But that made no sense! Mihoshi gave away the thing that gave her power without ever knowing if she’d get it back. For all she knew, Tenchi could decide to keep it. How could she trust him like that? Primaron wondered in astonishment. Once more, Kiyone screamed insanely inside her own head, this time blaming Primaron for their failure.
“Looks like your plan worked,” Mihoshi said to Tenchi happily. She turned to Kiyone and became dour. Nothing would make her happier then killing her murderous ex-partner and the mad man in her head, but Tenchi had flat out refused to take a life unless he had to. Mihoshi hated it, but she could live with both of them behind bars.
Wanting to gloat, Mihoshi told Primaron just that in her smuggest voice. “You two are going away for a very, very, very long time.”
“No,” he croaked. “NOOOOOO!”
Primaron kicked backwards, catching Tenchi in the chest. His grip loosened, giving Primaron enough leeway to break away. He fell to the ground and made a beeline to the spot his Planet Buster was pointed at. He stood directly in it’s line of fire and pressed the button on his remote to trigger the blast. He looked at his enemies, grinning savagely as he was hit with enough energy to blow a planet up. He’d grow so big and so strong, he would crush them all with a flick of his finger. He thought of the power and glory he’d have once he absorbed every last ounce of energy. He could feel it. He could taste it. He could sense it.
Then he knew nothing.
“What just happened?” Mihoshi asked. Tenchi thought the same thing as they walked to the spot where Primaron had just been standing. Nothing was there, no remains, no scorch marks, not a single blade of grass burned at all. Washu shook her head from across the clearing and explained what had happened.
“Poor deluded Primaron. He tried to absorb too much energy too quickly and Kiyone’s body couldn’t take it. With every cell in her body trying to expand a billion fold they broke apart, blowing her up into microscopic bits. Primaron was such a fool. So caught up in his dreams of attaining power that he destroyed himself. Such a sad fate for one so gifted and intelligent.” Washu closed her eyes, mourning her fellow scientist. Sure, he tried to destroy her lab and kill everyone on earth, but he was a mad scientist, they always do stuff like that. Washu liked to remember him as the young member of science council who once dreamed of making a better universe, but got lost along the way.
“Enough lamenting, it’s time to move on.” Washu reopened her eyes, putting Primaron out of her mind. It might of seemed cold to let go of the man only a few moments after his death, but after living for 100,000 years, Washu had learned to make her grieving quick.
Washu called out to Tenchi and Mihoshi as she started walking back to the house. “Come on you two. The quicker we get back to my lab, the quicker I can transfer the Torn back into Mihoshi.”
When Washu didn’t hear the couple respond, she turned around to see what they were doing. She raised her brow in interest at the sight of Mihoshi wrapping her small arms around the wide, thick waist of her fifteen-foot boyfriend. Tenchi was blushing from the feeling of having a sexy woman wrapped around him, even if she was half his size. His embarrassment wasn’t helped by the fact Mihoshi was trying to get her hands down his pants.
“Mihoshi, this really isn’t the best time.”
“But I’m curious, your not the only one that likes big things you know.”
“What happened to your sexy little bug boy?”
“He’s cute and fun, but sometimes a girl likes to have a man instead of a boy. Come here you stud.”
A soft chuckle escaped Washu as Mihoshi pushed Tenchi onto his back and started kissing him. She took her cue to leave when Mihoshi started working the ragged pants off Tenchi. It warmed Washu’s heart to see two kids so much in love. Even without being a giantess, Tenchi still loved Mihoshi. The Torn hadn’t been the one to make Tenchi fall in love, it had been the once shy and naïve space officer that had wooed him. They cared about each other and trusted one another completely. That was rare in this universe of mistrust and fear. As long as they had each other, through good or bad, through big or small, both of them would be forever happy.
