Flung into Kiyone's mouth, Tenchi quickly found himself crashing into the soft, moist surface of her tounge, which flicked him around for a few moments before it pinned him against the wall of the mouth. Saliva poured down on him and Tenchi knew that if he didn't do something soon, he would be getting very familiar with Kiyone's innards.
"Where's Kiyone!?" he shouted. "What have you done with her?"
"You wish to speak to Kiyone insect?" the voice replied, the obvious notion of conceit and arrogance washing over every word. "Very well."
A few moments later, a much more recognizable voice asked "Tenchi?"
"Kiyone?" the rather nervous Tenchi asked, hoping he could reason with her the same way he reasoned with the Torn. "You're OK, right?"
"OK?! I was left to die by that idiot partner of mine and then I find out you've...I can't even say it, it's just that idiotic! How can anyone fall in love with something SO STUPID?!"
Negotiation seemed to be less of an option as Tenchi heard Kiyone's words. She not only sounded furious, but nearly as insane as Primaron was. He needed a new negotiation strategy or else he would be entering the giantess' stomach sooner rather than later.
"That wasn't Mihoshi who did that, it was..."
"I KNOW WHO IT WAS!" Kiyone shouted. "It was someone I should have let rot a long time ago! I wouldn't even have been on this back water planet if it wasn't for her!"
The tounge pressed into Tenchi's form harder, leaving him to ask "What are you talking about?"
"I was ready to get that promotion, the one I had finally earned DESPITE being stuck with the dumbest partner in the universe, and then she says she wants to patrol this piece of shit planet! And you know why?"
Tenchi knew the answer, but didn't want to do anything to agitate the furious woman further, so he kept his mouth shut.
"BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO BE NEAR YOU! I guess only idiots fall in love with you, which explains the criminal, the mad scientist, and the brat aristocrat!"
"THEY'RE NOT IDIOTS!" Tenchi shouted, but he quickly covered his mouth when he realized his situation.
"This is all your fault," she rambled. "Once I eat you and kill her, I can go back to headquarters. Everything will be fine! Everything will be perfect, I'll have my nice office, my subordinate, my new medals, you just need to die first!"
Trapped, and with no way of reaching his sword, Tenchi could only grimace as the slimy tounge whipped him from the wall of her mouth and began moving him towards the entrance to her throat. This is it, he shuddered. Of all the ways to die, being dissolved in stomach acid was not very appealing. He closed his eyes and waited for the long drop.
The bright light in front of him suggested that he had met his end, but when he blinked, he saw that he had fallen out of Kiyone's mouth and right into Mihoshi's firm, yet infinitely safer grip. He began wondering how when he saw the insane giantess holding her bleeding mouth, cursing out Mihoshi.
"You stupid little..."
"I'M NOT STUPID! STOP MAKING FUN OF ME!" shouted a voice from Mihoshi's mouth.
"Where's Kiyone!?" he shouted. "What have you done with her?"
