"Well, I can't really fit in my apartment, and without Kiyone...I can't pay rent, so I was wondering..."
"Yes." The words escaped Tenchi's lips without a hint of doubt.
"But I didn't even ask what I wanted yet," Mihoshi replied.
"It's pretty obvious," Tenchi answered. "I'd be honored if you moved back in." Seeing the cute grin on his giant girlfriend's face only served to make the decision more rewarding.
"You're so sweet," she exclaimed with a blush, picking Tenchi up and kissing him deeply. For his part, Tenchi could only return the kiss, his cheeks becoming as red as tomatoes.
A few minutes later, the pair looked up in the sky and noticed a ship descending towards the house, easily recognizable as Ryo-Ohki.
"Ryoko went out today?" Mihoshi asked, unaware of the adventures the space pirate had endured, or the consequences they would have.
