"Quit it!"
No sooner did Ayeka charge up another blast of energy did a rather large hand knock her aside. The sheer force of Mihoshi's slap caused Ayeka to fly nearly fifteen feet backwards until she landed face first in the grass, a rather compromising position as Tenchi and Sasami both ventured out of the house to see what happened. Naturally, the princess' sister was extremely worried.
"Ayeka! Are you OK?"
A muffled growl answered the young girl, but before she could ask any more questions, Tenchi went up to her.
"Ayeka, what the hell were you doing?"
"I was..." she began, but Ryoko quickly cut her off.
"She attacked Mihoshi Tenchi. Ayeka was charging down the hall screaming "slut" and "curr" and a bunch of other stuff and kept swearing up and down she'd blast her right out of the house. Real vile stuff."
"Is this true?" Tenchi asked.
"Well, um," Ayeka began, but before she could explain herself to the annoyed boy in front of her, another voice interrupted.
"She did shoot Mihoshi with energy. That's why she's bigger."
Turning around, everyone saw Washu standing in front of the house, pointing towards a chalkboard next to her with a variety of cartoonish drawings on them.
"Somehow, Mihoshi's body is absorbing energy and is converting it into matter and bodily energy. Basically, Ayeka's furious energy blasts, which would incinerate a normal human, only made Mihoshi bigger, stronger, and shall we say...more noticeable. Any attack it seems, no matter how powerful, will only create a similar effect."
Ayeka's head slumped into the dirt. In her rage, she had only made Mihoshi stronger and obviously even more difficult for Tenchi to ignore.
"Now I know what you're wondering, 'but Washu, what's causing it?' Well, I don't know. But I'll find out!"
And with that, Washu left to head back into her laboratory while everyone began staring at Ayeka, who kept her head in the dirt.
"I guess I'd better start fixing that hole," Tenchi groaned. "Ayeka?"
"Yes Lord Tenchi?" she replied, finally lifting her head from the ground.
"You're going to have to help out. If Grandpa sees this, he'll have a heart attack."
"Y...yes Lord Tenchi," replied Ayeka weakly. As she looked on at everyone heading back into the house to eat breakfast, she noticed Mihoshi looking on at her, grinning slightly, saying a simple word.
"Thanks."
