Edward woke to find himself out of the stomach of Riza. He was lying in a bed next to Froppy and Mii. Edward stretched all of his limbs and looked around. Riza was standing at the end of the bed just watching. As Edward slowly got into a sitting position, Froppy was beginning to stir. Mii looked to be deep asleep.
"I see you have your limbs back" said Riza by way of a greeting. "how did ya manage that?"
Edward glanced back at the sleeping Mii. When he did so Edward just kept staring at the divine goddess before him. Edward felt an overwhelming urge to massage every inch of Mii and then some. Without thinking Edward leaned towards Mii in order to touch his lips to her blessed lips. Riza called for him but she was ignored. All that Edward saw was the gorgeous Mii. It felt as if his heart was singing at the sight of Mii.
It wasn't until Edward felt a hand on his shoulder that he finally snapped out of the spell. He turned to see Riza had moved to the side of the bed. It took Edward a few moments to fully recover from the spell.
"Are you alright?" asked Riza.
"Yeah," said Edward getting off the bed. "It was Mii who gave me a new arm and leg. And they feel just swell"
"Hmmm," said a different voice from the bed. Edward turned to see that Mii had been replaced by that girl in that odd forest. It took Edward a moment to remember her name: Natsumi.
Natsumi was dressed in a yellow vest over a green blouse. She wore pink sweat pants. Her breasts were almost as big as Mii's had been.
As Edward watched, Natsumi stretched and woke up. She looked around sleepily for a few moments.
"Natsumi?" asked Edward.
"Mii is completely zonked out" said Natsumi by way of a greeting. "it happens from time to time"
"Be quiet, ribbit" mumbled Froppy.
"Who're you?" asked Riza.
Natsumi sighed. "I share my body with Mii"
"Like a homunculus" muttered Edward.
"Only I'm not a prisoner" said Natsumi. "I'm free to be myself"
Edward was reveling in the fact that he had two limbs. He was stretching his arm and leg in a joyous manner. Meanwhile, Natsumi had climbed out of bed and went towards the bathroom. All in the bedroom heard the bathroom door lock. A few moments later, the shower was heard turning on.
Edward was getting dressed while Froppy slowly climbed out of bed. She looked half-asleep.
"Froppy?" asked Riza.
Froppy's eyes widened as she came fully awake. Froppy found her clothes and quickly got dressed. She was blushing as she was getting dressed.
"Ya missed us?" asked Edward as he followed Riza out of the bedroom. "is that why we're out of your stomach?"
"Partially" said Riza slyly. "I'm going off to hunt"
"Hunt?" asked Edward. "but isn't there enough food in these....houses?"
"Not nearly enough," said Riza. "I don't want to hog it all"
Riza and Edward had walked out of the house and into the encampment. In the middle of the encampment was what looked like a campfire. However the campfire was no normal fire but black flames that seemed to push back the natural light. The sight was unnerving to be certain.
Next to the campfire, sitting on a chair, was a woman with red hair with a ponytail. She was rather beautiful.
"Edward, this is Revy" said Riza .
Revy looked around at Edward. There was a cigarette in Revy's mouth. Revy was roasting a piece of meat in the fire at the end of a long skewer.
"What's with the fire?" asked Edward.
Revy studied Edward a moment before speaking, "What's with the shrimp?"
"A WHAT?!" barked out Edward, glaring dangers at Revy. Revy's expression didn't change at all. Revy was totally unfazed by Edward's outburst.
"I'm gonna go hunt" said Riza as she walked off.
"Have fun" called Revy after Riza.
Edward looked over at Riza as she walked away. He had a mind of going after her and more than half a mind of telling the lieutenant the riot act. Edward spent several minutes stewing in his juices while Revy looked at him with a bemused look.
Revy blew out smoke right in Edward's face. Edward fanned the smoke away. He was heavily reminded of a former state alchemists that he and Al went after that incident at Youswell who had been a heavy smoker. That particular alchemist, Gregor Zane, had tried to warn the two brothers about the government just like that freezer alchemist had. Gregor was exploiting workers at a lumber mill. It had been a situation much like the one in Youswell save for the fact that Gregor had treated his workers with a tad more kindness than what that Yoki had.
Edward was about to snap at Revy when a sound caught his attention. He looked around to see what looked like a female copy of himself. She was wearing the exact same distinctive clothing that Edward wore.
The female copy had two automail limbs just like Edward had but they were direct opposites of each other. The female copy was holding a hand over a wound on her side. She was also limping on one foot rather badly.
Edward rushed to the female copy when the copy had collapsed onto the ground.
"She isn't...?" asked Revy who had joined Edward a moment later.
Edward felt for a pulse. "No, she's still alive. Let's get her in one of the houses"
As Revy and Edward dragged the female version of himself stirred and said in a weak voice, "Jacob..."

The capsule houses were meant for camping so each one had a thirty gallon water tank (60 gallon tank in the deluxe edition). So there was enough water to take a shower.
Natsumi hadn't been out and about for a long time. She hummed as she was taking her shower. It was several minutes before Natsumi felt Mii was stirring awake somewhere in the back of her mind.
Mii had woken up five years ago. One morning, Natsumi just felt she was sharing her body with someone. At first Natsumi thought it was nerves but it wasn't. It had taken Mii a long time to awaken because she had been in a dormant state. Thanks to the antics of a transformed Natsumi, she had gotten people to worship her and that's what awakened the fertility goddess within her mind.
Natsumi was about to turn off the shower when, all of a sudden, she had an orgasm. The eighteen year old buckled at the knees and manage to remain on her feet by holding a wall in the shower.
"Good morning to you, too" gasped Natsumi. A few moments later she was hit by another orgasm. Natsumi yelped in absolute pleasure that caused her to turn the hot water knob almost completely off. This resulted in Natsumi quickly turning off the shower altogether and climbing out.
Natsumi wiped away at the mirror to get rid of the condensation. What met her in the mirror wasn't her own reflection but Mii smiling back at her.
"Well, this is certainly a surprise," said Mii. "you up and about"
"I was tired watching from the sidelines" replied Natsumi. "every once in a while I do feel like coming out"
"Of the closest?" teased Mii.
Natsumi was getting dressed. "Oh, be quiet"
The reflection of Mii just grinned before fading away from the mirror. Of course Mii wasn't totally gone. Mii lived somewhere in Natsumi's mind.
Natsumi walked out of the bathroom and out of the house. Natsumi breathed in the late afternoon air. The air was much cleaner here than in Tokyo.
Natsumi turned to see Revy and Edward carrying an unconscious girl between them into the next capsule house. The unconscious girl looked like Edward.
"Heh," said Mii in Natsumi's head. "A female version of Ed"
The smell of cooked meat met Natsumi's nose. The smell came from the campfire with black flames. A skewer of meat was on the ground tilted away from the fire. Natsumi walked towards the fire and saw a bucket of meat next to the fire. She grabbed what looked like a chicken breast and speared it on a skewer and started to cook it.
"Odd looking fire" said Natsumi quietly.
