Advent of The Avatar AnimeVore,GTS,GT,Shrink,Unbirth,AnalVore chapter 55 by copier · original author: erik

Roy walked back to his office. On the way there he passed by some windows. Roy was deep in thought before he caught something in the corner of his eye. Roy turned to look down at the street far below to see a cloaked figure running into an alley. A moment later, another cloaked figure walked into the same alley. Roy lifted an eyebrow and moved on. He made it to his office where he proceeded to do routine paperwork that was mind-meltingly boring. Roy would much rather face all of the homunculi than to do paperwork. Then an idea came to him.
The homunculi were fewer in number. All that was left was Pride along with that Father guy that Fullmetal once told him about. Of course all of the high brass of the military were on Father's side. Even with fewer homunculi it would be a tall order to defeat all who were under the thumb of Father. Roy grumbled as he continued his paperwork.

Roy did paperwork for a little over two hours until he couldn't take it anymore. He paused to consider on what to do. He eyed the telephone on his desk, hoping it would ring so that he would be able to listen to whoever called. Roy would even hope for Hughes to call to relieve him of his boredom. But, of course, Hughes wouldn't call. Hughes was dead, killed by one of those homunculi.

Stop it! Roy told himself.

The day continued at a snail's pace. Hours later, the day was finally done and Roy could go home at last.

Roy walked outside and entered his car. There, Roy proceeded to drive home. On the way home, Roy saw several more people in cloaks wandering the streets trying to blend in. Roy almost ran into one of those cloaked figures. Roy had to slam on the breaks to avoid running the figure over. The figure nodded thanks to Roy before moving on. Roy had caught a glimpse what was under the cloak. It was clearly a female wearing some kind of contraption over an eye that almost looked like a monocle. The skin of the woman under the cloak was an orange-red.

"What did I just see?" asked Roy in a quiet voice. A car honking behind him almost made Roy jump. Roy continued to drive down the road.

Roy was passing by an alley when he happened to glance aside as something caught his attention. A woman was wrestling with several of those people in cloaks. Roy pulled the car over and parked it a few yards from the alley. He then opened the glove compartment and pulled out two of his special gloves.
Roy exited the car and slipped on the gloves while he approached the alley. Roy peeked down the alley to see the woman and the cloaked ones were at the far end of the alley. There were a total of five people that were carrying the woman with a sixth standing a little apart from the others. The sixth cloaked person stood a foot taller than the others. The sixth one was clearly giving orders that Roy couldn't hear from his vantage point.

Roy entered the alley and headed towards the seven people. One of the five carrying the woman noticed Roy and pointed at him.

"Idiot!" snarled the sixth cloaked figure. "Don't let go of--!"

The woman wrestled one of her arms free and punched at one of assailants. A gust of air knocked back two of the hooded assailants to the brick wall of the alley that freed one of her legs. The woman kicked at another of her assailants, sending out a flame that went in a graceful arc and pushed back the assailant.
The sixth cloaked person whirled around to face Roy who was rushing down the alley. The sixth cloaked person raised some kind of gun at Roy. Before the hooded assailant could shoot Roy, Roy snapped his fingers. The cloak of the sixth cloaked figure burst into flames. The hooded assailant quickly pulled off the burning cloak to reveal his identity.

The sixth assailant was clearly wasn't a human. He had purplish skin and two short horns sprang from his head. He was muscular. He wore what looked like armor and he had a contraption over one of his eyes.

The woman was able to wrestle free of the remaining assailants around her. Her movements reminded Roy of the book on the country of Xing he had been reading earlier. It had been a chapter about martial arts. Roy had a better look at the young woman. She was very muscular for a woman and she wore blue clothing.

"Looks like we've got one of those state alchemists we heard so much about" said the purple alien, his voice filled with confidence.

"What are you?" asked Roy who was still getting over the shock about the sixth assailant not being human.

The woman had her hands full in dealing with her five assailants. The woman was holding her own with fierce kicks and punches. The five assailants easily dodged each attack as they came.

"Such a rude question" said the purple guy. "I am not a " what". I happen to command these five idiots "

"Shut up, Faleili, and help us with this little girl" growled one of the hooded assailants.

The woman kicked at the hooded assailant that had spoken. A strong gust of wind was able to knock back three of the assailants all the way down the alley and across the street.

That's too fast to be alchemy thought Roy. She isn't even using a transmutation circle

Faleili looked back at the two remaining assailants on the woman and grimaced. This gave Roy the chance to snap his fingers and set Faleili on fire. Faleili's skin seemed to be fire proof as the flames didn't last too long. Faleili turned around and pointed his gun at Roy.

BANG!

A defeating gunshot sounded in the alley. The gunshot didn't come from the weapon in Faleili's hand but from somewhere above. The bullet hit Faleili's weapon, apparently disabling it. Faleili and Roy both looked up. From the rooftop of one of the buildings stood a blond-haired woman. For a wild moment, Roy thought the woman was Riza but it clearly wasn't.

"Damn" said Faleili as the woman in the alley knocked back two of her remaining assailants. Faleili took stock of his situation and suddenly took to the air with shocking speed. Roy snapped his fingers at the blur that was Faleili but missed.

"Thanks" said the woman, holding out her hand at Roy. Roy shook the offered hand.

"Colonel Roy Mustang" said Roy.

"I'm Korra" replied the woman.

Roy looked up to see the woman on the roof but she had vanished.

"How did you do that stuff?" asked Roy. "It's not any alchemy I've ever heard of"

Korra looked blankly at Roy. "What's alchemy?"

"Well, if it wasn't alchemy" said Roy. "what was it?"

"I'm the Avatar" said Korra as if that explained everything. "I can manipulate the four elements....well, five if you count metal as an element"

Roy just stared at Korra for a moment before turning his attention to the knocked-out assailants some forty yards away.

"Looks like your assailants aren't from around here" said Roy as he walked to the two unconscious aliens and examined them. They were humanoid in shape but each had bluish-green skin and the two had the same armor and the same eyepiece.

"Yeah, well" said Korra walking up besides Roy. "they're not from this dimension... and neither am I"

Roy looked sharply at Korra. "Pardon me?"

"It's a long story" said Korra.

"Who was that woman on the rooftop?" asked Roy.

"My name is Irina Jelavich" came a new voice. Both Roy and Korra looked down at the entrance to the alley to see a rather beautiful woman. "and I'm not from this dimension either"

"Oh?" asked Korra. "were you at that restaurant?"

Irina nodded.

"What restaurant?" asked Roy looking nonplussed. "What's going on here?"

"We were both at this restaurant called The Dimensional Cafe when it came under attack" said Korra to Roy. "As to how we got here...I have no idea"
