It was evening as Uryu and Chad went home leaving, Rukia and Inoue at Inoue's house. Rukia helped Inoue clean up the table. Inoue noticed that Rukia wants something. After cleaning up and putting the trash where it needs to be. The two sat down at the dining table where they ate earlier.
"Don't you have shinigami duties,Rukia?" asked Inoue.
Rukia shook her head, "No, there are others here patrolling. Only when the hollow is strong when we are called for backup. Today is my day off." Rukia answered as smirked.
"I was wondering if you could test the limits of your technique." Rukia asked which startled Inoue who rubbed her belly.
"Now why would I do that?" Inoue asked nervously.
"You never know when you need to exceed the limits of any technique. You should also know the range, the time to cast and the duration." Rukia explained.
"Well you have a point." Inoue added. "I would like to see how far I could go with this technique." she thought.
"And besides the more you use it. The quicker you can use it and evolve it to a point you won't need an incantation but use by sheer thought. The more you practice, the better you get and the more you get used to it. I've seen many captains and lieutenants do so." Rukia explained some more.
"Another good point." Inoue said.
Inoue looked at her belly then at the box where her spirits were.
"Okay! Let's try it out. If it's too much then we'll stop there." Inoue said as she pulled the box towards her. Rukia nodded as she sat closer to Inoue.
"This is the first time I'll be taking more than one. Sorry, Tsubaki. You're going to have company! Inoue thought.
Inoue carefully picked up, Lily who was fast asleep like the others.
"Here goes nothing." Inoue said, pumping herself up as she lowered Lily to her lower stomach like with Tsubaki. She began to concentrate as Rukia saw the same golden light as it began to glow brightly. It wasn't as bright as before but Rukia still needed to shield her eyes a bit. As the light died down, what happened?
