Inoue stayed at the soul society for week before returning to the world of the living. Uryu had made new clothes for her upon her return. They still had school but all of them decided to home school a bit. Especially Ichigo despite having been healed, his body still ached all over. Uryu was a little better thanks to Captain Mayuri.
It had been several days as Rukia and Chad were back at school. Uryu had also just attended school after a few days absent but Inoue and Ichigo were still not at school.
"How's Ichigo?" Uryu asked Rukia as she shrugged.
"Still bed ridden. His dad is baffled why he doesn't see anything that would make Ichigo not go to school. I guess he's still sore from fighting." Rukia answered.
"Hey Tatsuki. How's Orihime doing?" Uryu asked Tatsuki as the latter turned to answer to Uryu.
"She says she hasn't been feeling well. I bring her homework but she always asks to leave it out and she'll get it later. When I pass by to get her assignments they're always hanging out of her door. I knock but no answer." Tatsuki answered with a but of disappointment in her voice.
"She sounds disappointed." Rukia whispered.
"Of course she is. She hasn't seen her best friend for a while." Uryu whispered back.
"Let's go visit her then." Chad said as the three agreed to visit her after school. They had to deliver her homework so they volunteered since Tatsuki had a club meeting.
