“Would you shut up already!?” Tatsuki screamed before hitting a weeping Keigo repeatedly in the head. The walk from the forest to Urahara’s shop had been without incident, except for the distracting orgasmic screams coming from behind them. It unnerved the group to hear the cries of Orihime from so far away; even when they were in town they could still hear her faint cries. It made them all wonder what Ichigo was doing to Orihime to make her scream so loudly. Keigo did a lot of wondering and was constantly either getting a nosebleed or trying to run back to see for himself what was going on.
“Well, we’re here,” Chad pointed out, as they all walked towards the front doors to Urahara’s shop.
“Do you really think this dufus can help Ichigo and Orihime?” Tatsuki asked. She looked at the shop with distaste. She had only met Urahara once and he seemed not the type to be full of good ideas. He seemed lazy and stupid; two things Tatsuki had a real problem with. She was a martial artist and believed in hard work and integrity, which she didn’t see in Urahara.
“Do we have any other choice?” No one had an answer for Chad, so they just walked in to seek Urahara’s help. The place was empty except for one loudly snoring man leaning back in a chair. Urahara had sent his hired help/underpaid workers home, not out of kindness, but so he could sleep on the job and not get bugged by anyone. Tatsuki took one look at the snoozing former Shinigami and flipped out.
“Wake up idiot!”
Urahara tipped over, spilling out onto the dusty wood floor of his shop in a heap. Grasping his chest and panting, he looked up at the visitors to his shop.
“Don’t do that,” he gasped out, after nearly dying a second time from Tatsuki’s unexpected wake up. Tatsuki rolled her eyes, as she understood, this guy was supposed to have once been a captain in the Soul society, the elite of the elite. The fact that she had caught him off guard told her that she was either very stealthy or he was very lazy. Since she was as graceful as a elephant, Tatsuki imagined it was likely the latter.
“Sorry,” Chad politely responded before cutting to the chase. “We need your help Urahara. Ichigo and Orihime have grown into…”
“…Giants, I know. Now, all of you want to go to the Spirit Society to look for a way to help your big friends,” Urahara interrupted with a wave of his fan. The teens gawked at him, shocked that he knew the situation. Urahara hid his face behind his fan, keeping the teens from seeing his smile. Let them think he had amazing physic powers; they didn’t need to know he already heard it from Rukia.
“How did you…forget it, can you help us or not old man?” Rudely Tatsuki asked.
Urahara frowned at being called an old man, but decided to ignore it. Customers have called him much worse names in the past. “Yes I can, my ill tempered, rude, tomboyish, flat-chested friend.”
With a snap of his fingers, the portal that Rukia traveled through reappeared, shocking the teens again. Urahara grinned, no longer hiding it behind his fan. The probably all thought he had summoned the portal by snapping his fingers, while he had actually used his helper monkeys to summon the doors and had just forgotten to close them.
“This is the part where you run through the doors without thinking or having any clue on how to get back,” Urahara told them all. Everyone blinked and started running towards the open doors, ready to get help for their friends. Before all of them entered, Tatsuki veered off and snap kicked Urahara in the jaw.
“That’s for calling me flat-chested, jerk!” That was the last thing she said before joining her friends through the doorway, which closed with a crash as soon as she was through. A shop keep with a sore jaw, watched the doors disappear again wondering if he should go back to sleep or try to do something to help on his end. He decided to get back to his shuteye, ignoring everything and everyone around him.
