That snapped Sakura's mind of it's stupification. Her eyes took on an angry tone, that if Naruto hadn't been so damn pissed off himself, he would've noticed.

"It's no excuse." Naruto replies gravely, although a small smile is now present on his face. "A good Hokage should never make his girlfriend cry, no matter how easily she cries...Unless it's a super awesome wedding proposal and she's crying because it's so great."
Sakura's tears finally come to a stop and her melodious laughter rings out into the room. Naruto is relieved that he is able to get her to laugh.
