"What Naruto?" Sakura spits angrily. AGAIN she allowed herself to trust him. AGAIN.
"Just give me this one secret, and I swear to you that I will never keep another one from you. I promise you Sakura that what I need to do is not even remotely anything that will hurt you in any way. Please..." Naruto begs. He doesn't want Sakura to know that he's going to yell at Tsunade for overworking her, because he knows she will forbid him from doing it. But whether she admits it or not, she needs someone to look out for her. As a result of constantly viewing herself as the weak link on their team when they were kids, Sakura would work herself until her body literally shuts down from stress.
Sakura's angry gaze softened. Naruto looked so...sincere. "Just this one?" She whispers.
"Just this one. That's all I need."
"So after this... you'll tell me about your childhood?" Sakura has been trying to get Naruto to open about his childhood for a long time now. All she knows is that since he is the Kyubi's jinchuriki, his childhood was one that would destroy most people. Yet Naruto came out of his childhood strong, bright, sunny, kind, caring and determined. He truly is amazing. But she can still see the pain in his eyes. The pain from terrible childhood memories that he hides beneath a mask. She wants to know all the details of his childhood so she can help heal him.
"Sakura-chan... You don't want to know about me childhood. It's in the past. It's unimportant."
"It's important to me Naruto. And you told me this is the only secret you would ever need. So I will give you this secret, if you stay true to your word and tell me whatever else I want to know."
Naruto sighs.
