Where Boruto was a traitor and Kawaki was the hero, son of Naruto. It had been four years since then as Hanabi is still in doubt that he was indeed a traitor. After a mission with team 15, she is approached by a strange woman in a cloak and is given two scrolls.
"Who are you?" Hanabi yelled asking for it's name.
Seemingly female, she replied, "If you wish to undo what one has done, you will use that scroll."
Hanabi despite using her Byakugan, couldn't see any chakra coming from within this person's body. She took one glimpse with the scroll in hand. She wanted to ask what this was but the figure vanished! Hanabi looked around to find the person but saw it was indeed gone!
"Who was that mysterious person?" Hanabi thought as she went home with the two scrolls in tow.
She reached the Hyuga residence where she greeted her father but went straight to her room. Curious to the words of the stranger, she checked the one of the scrolls. Then it activated as Hanabi dropped the scroll. A summoning circle appeared below her but before she could act. A blinding light blinded her!
As her vision came back, she saw she was in a forest. A place that she didn't recognize.
"Where am I?" Hanabi said to herself. Strangely she found the the other scroll in her hand.
"To undo what is done. Did Kawaki do?" Hanabi thought, she wouldn't believe her nephew could do something but something deep inside of her was telling her that something was indeed wrong. She decided to go with her gut instinct and figure out what the person wanted her to do.
She came upon a stream to gather some drinking water. Luckily, she still has her ninja equipment satchel along with a water canister. As she gathered water, she saw her reflection.
"Who are you?" Hanabi yelled asking for it's name.
