Sakura was wandering the streets, of Konoha. She had the day off, and she was currently just browsing the stores around the area, not really caring about what was in them.
Sakura was now eighteen years old, and had gotten over her crush on Sasuke, though she may still feel something for him. She stopped being so rude to Naruto, and had gotten to be a close friend of his over the years. Overall, she was happy with her position in life now, all the Rookie nine were still in their 3-man squads, and the missions were going smoothly, even if the rank of them was increasing.
As she walked around she turned down an alley. She hadn't realized it until she snapped out of her thoughts, and shook her head, lightly laughing at her stupidity. When she was about to turn around to leave she heard a voice from behind her.
"Hey there, young woman..." It spoke in a raspy old voice.
Sakura grabbed a Kunai and turned around, ready to fight if the need came. "What do you want?"
It was an old man wearing ragged robes, and didn't look very threatening. Sakura lowered her guard a little, not wanting to scare the man.
"I mean you no harm", he said raising his arms, "I just want to give you something." He held out his hand and in it was what looked like a water balloon.
"What is it?" Sakura asked, curiously poking the ball.
"Nothing but a present to a beautiful lady like yourself."
