"Oww! I feel like I've been hit with another of Granny's punches!" Naruto moaned.
Sakura, however, felt no pain, merely annoyance. "Watch where you're going, Naruto!" she yelled. "Now I'm filthy again and I just left the bathhouses!"
Playing dumb, Naruto decided to comment upon Sakura's altered figure. "Sakura-chan, what happened? How did you get so big and why are you naked?"
Embarrassed, Sakura quickly covered herself with the curtain and turned as pink as her hair. "I have no idea, Naruto. I woke up at the hot springs and I was a complete mess!"
Naruto saw an opportunity. "I don't think you're a mess, Sakura-chan, I think you're beautiful."
"Yeah, right, Naruto. My forehead is even larger now than it ever was." Sakura replied. "If you're going to make jokes, I'm in no mood to hear them!"
"I mean it, Sakura-chan! You look great. You can use my shower at my apartment, it's much closer than your house and I promise not to peek!"
Sakura considered his offer, and thought that it did make sense. "Alright, but if you take one look, I'll make sure you never see anything for the rest of your life, Naruto!"
Back at Naruto's apartment.
Sakura had to sit to use the shower at Naruto's. While showering, she reflected on his kindness. "He really is a sweet guy. I never really noticed how cute he can be." thought inner Sakura.
Naruto, however, was preparing dinner for Sakura, and surprisingly, cooking something other than ramen. "I hope Sakura doesn't find out it was me that did this to her." Naruto thought. "She'll kick my ass for sure."
Upon exiting the shower, Sakura grabbed the blankets Naruto gave her for clothing, and attempted to form it into a mock-toga. Feeling satisfied that nothing was showing, she exited the shower and was instantly overwhelmed by the smell of Naruto's cooking.
"What smells so good, Naruto?" she asked.
"Roasted duck, with rice cakes" Naruto replied. "I made you dinner, Sakura-chan."
Sakura, noticed her hunger, and promptly sat down to eat. "What am I feeling, besides hunger?" she thought. "Naruto has always been nice, but he seems so cute right now, I can't get over it." "He hasn't made one joke about my transformation."
After dinner, Naruto offered Sakura his bed, and also offered to take the couch. While Sakura was feeling tired, she didn't want to impose.
