"Great," Keiji grimaced at the three ninjas in front of him. "More stalkers."
"Not quite," Shikimaru replied, looking on at the pair, seemingly unconcerned with their presence. "We need Naruto, but we need him to get rid of this...this hunger!"
"So do approximately twenty-two others," Kakashi answered. "What makes you so special?"
"We're not going to eat him," Kiba answered. "We're going to give him to someone who can consume Naruto and get rid of the hunger we all have for him at the same time!"
"Who's the ringleader?" Keiji asked. "Who's giving the orders?"
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Sai interrupted. "I don't answer to you!"
"Then maybe you'll answer to your direct superior," Kakashi began. "Who's the ringleader of your little gang and what does he want with Naruto? And more importantly, what do all these stalkers have to do with the Nine-Tailed-Fox?"
The question remained unanswered as a thunderous explosion from what was clearly the Hokage's manor. The distraction was all the trio of starved ninjas needed to escape the two that had confronted them. However, Kakashi had even bigger worries on his mind.
"Even if she was being controlled, if Naruto killed the Hokage in the middle of this..."
"That's impossible!" Keiji protested. "The Hokage is far too powerful to be felled by a simple bomb!"
Kakashi shook his head. Even in the midst of all that had occured, the psychologist's respect for authority remained intact. Now if only that same zealotry could be applied to protecting his student, progress might be made.

Naruto finally began to relax as he walked away from the explosion that he had left. He was pretty, no, mostly sure that Granny Tsunade would be able to avoid or at the very least survive such a blast. Besides, compared to the mental scarring her true form had caused, completely destroying her home was a light slap on the wrist.
"Well, no luck with the old hag. But if I don't find out what's causing this soon, I'm going to go insane."
"Too late," a voice began.
