What would seem to be a rather simple endeavor was turned, in no part thanks to Naruto's less than exceptional knowledge of his surroundings, a walk around a seemingly endless amount of doors and hallways.
For her part, Sakura was doing her best not to reveal her frustration with the situation, absent mindedly looking around, puncutated with an occasional "Do you have any idea where we're going idiot?" to ensure Naruto that nothing about his partner was the least bit suspicious.
"I have no idea," was the reply he kept using, even as he went from door to door, looking for some sign of where they were.
"The place isn't even that big from what I remember," Sakura replied, trying to draw her victim's attention away with idle chatter. To be fair, however, none of the lights were turned on. Sakura knew that if they were, it'd be easier for her rivals to find Naruto and devour him whole.
"Well, don't you know where to look? Maybe I should turn on a light."
"You idiot!" Sakura shouted, ensuring that Naruto's attention was firmly fixated on her. "If you do that, the whole village will know we're in here, and that means..."
"Right," the young shinobi nodded, not wanting to get hit in the head to drive the point across.
The hunger was maddening to Sakura, and even as she attempted to distract him, thoughts of how she would savor him came to mind. The spear wasn't there, but that wouldn't matter. They were all alone, and she liked the taste of raw food. Edging closer, she prepared to devour him whole, unable to deny the pains in her stomach.
"Naruto, stay away from her!"
Turning around, both young ninjas saw the psychologist readying a group of kunai, pointing them right at Sakura.
"Doc, what gives?" Naruto asked. "She's on our side."
"She's stalker number five Mr. Umazaki," Keiji corrected in his deadpan tone. "You've been lured down here so she could eat you without interruption."
"Actually I got lost," Naruto replied embarassed.
"Oh. Well, that doesn't change the fact that she plans to eat you whole."
"What?!" Sakura replied back as if insulted, and yet hiding her true intentions. "You're just going to accuse everyone, aren't you? Maybe you want to eat him too!"
"You're not well," Keiji replied. "Please let me help you."
"I don't need help, because you're paranoid!" Sakura shouted, grabbing Naruto's hand. "Let's get out of here."
