Wasting no time, Naruto slurped down the rest of the ramen in the bowl before running home, making sure to lock all of the doors and barricade the windows as he did so. He didn't even bother to acknowledge the yells of people that he ran past, nor wondered what would happen if someone besides the stalker stepped on the small chakra-powered mines he set up by the windows.

"What is wrong with these people?!" he yelled aloud. "I don't taste that good!"

No one replied of course, a feeling that he was used to. To be honest, at this point it was probably better that no one replied to his cries of fear, lest a hailstorm of kunai meet the person in a panic induced reaction.

Looking over the notebook Keiji gave him, Naruto grimaced, looking over the various notations to each girl he knew. He had come to one conclusion.

"Everyone's a suspect. Everybody wants me dead!"

No, now wasn't the time to freak out and allow paranoia to get the better of him while someone was out there with an actual plan. The actual situation was easy enough to assess, so why should he be worried?

A suspect list longer than an army was probably a start.

Looking outside, Naruto noticed a small crowd of people walking home after a long day. The sudden appearance of what appeared to be the Sand girl holding what appeared to be a sandwich right in front of his window threw him into a panic, causing the overexcited ninja to throw a kunai right at the sandwich, knocking it to the floor.

"What the hell was that?!" she asked looking around for the suspect, but by that point, Naruto was completely out of sight.

Sighing at his reaction, and looking back outside, Naruto continued to watch the passerbys as they went home for the day. None of them really appeared interested in his house, but that wasn't a guarantee by any means. For all he knew...

"OK, that needs to stop," he thought. He was so paranoid that at this point, a small herd of elephants could sneak up behind him without anyone noticing, much less a determined stalker. No, what Naruto needed was a plan.

He grimaced. There was no way he'd come up with a competent plan in time. That didn't, however, stop him from trying. Looking over a copy of what appeared to be a newspaper, Naruto finally came to a realization.

"If she's been stalking me...then maybe someone in the village was already eaten as a warm up. Maybe I can use that to find out who it is?"

It was no worse than his original plan, which was to spy on every girl in town, in the hope that he'd find a clue that way. Unfortunately, the method and target were far too close to Ero-sennin's methods for him to be comfortable with. That thought alone made the teenage shinobi shudder a bit.
