Ino wants to help Sakura

Sakura sighed. Here it comes. Why did you have to go after Naruto, Ino... Sakura thought sadly as she prepared to attack and devour her best girl friend.
"I knew you wouldn't eat him, you're in love with him aren't you?" Ino crowed triumphantly. Sakura's eyes widened in shock. Ino wasn't exactly quiet, and no doubt Naruto heard that from his hiding place in the bathroom.
Sakura opened her mouth as her brilliant mind attempted to come up with the perfect response. Instead, all that Sakura was able to get out was a flabbergasted, "What?"
Ino grinned. "I've seen the way you look at him. You've been looking at him differently ever since he returned from his training trip three years ago! I was so surprised when you announced that you were going to eat Naruto. But as days passed and I still saw Naruto walking around I started to realize that my suspicions were correct, and you just proved it!"
"I don't know what you're talking about Ino, I'm just waiting for the right moment to eat Naruto is all."
"Oh yea? Then where is Hinata?"
Sakura's eyes nearly bulged out of her skull.
"I saw her force her way into your house yesterday, and I noticed that she didn't leave. You protected Naruto from her didn't you?"
"I...well... let's just say she left..." Sakura grinned. It was at that moment that Sakura noticed Sakura's larger breasts.
"Oh my god! You ate Hinata?!"
"Well... she attacked me, and then she swallowed Naruto..." Sakura frowned as the memory of watching Naruto being swallowed alive by Hinata replayed in her mind.
"WHAT?!" Ino gasped. "She got Naruto? Oh Sakura..."
"I got him out of her belly before I ate her." Sakura clarified with a smile. Ah screw it... Sakura thought. Ino didn't seem to be to eat Naruto. "You can come out here Naruto."
Naruto sheepishly walked out of t he bathroom. "Umm... hi Ino."
Ino flashed Sakura a smug smile. "So THAT'S why you're naked Sakura." Ino said with a smug smirk in her pink-haired friend's direction, causing Sakura's face to match the color of her hair as she blushed.
"No Ino, I was naked because it would be easier to eat you if you were a threat to Naruto." Sakura explained, perfectly using the truth to dodge any more of Ino's teasing. "And I still haven't decided yet." Sakura added. She added that last part playfully because Ino didn't seem to be here for Naruto, but there was a hint of seriousness to her voice which warned Ino that Sakura would eat her if she had to.
"No no, I'm no threat to Naruto. I mean, don't get me wrong, he looks absolutely delicious, and I would love to get that reward money..." Sakura started tensing her muscles, preparing to fight her best friend.
"But the reason Naruto isn't currently a squirming mass in my belly is because I'm not going to kill the man that my best friend loves."
Sakura instantly relaxed and smiled gratefully at Ino.
Naruto on the other hand stared at Sakura with a complete look of shock on his face. Ino just said that Sakura loved him... and she didn't deny it.
No way... Could Sakura really...
"Thanks Ino..." Sakura said softly.
"You don't have to thank me!" Ino replied with a bright grin. "Besides, it's a complete load of shit that the Hokage is even letting this happen. Naruto has saved this village more times than anyone can count, he doesn't deserve to end up as some kunoichi's pile of shit."
Sakura walked up to a still completely shocked Naruto and looped her arm around his. "No he doesn't." Naruto was still too surprised to react, and all he was able to do was look into Sakura's pretty eyes.
"Hmmm, judging from the way he's just stared at you with that surprised look on his face the whole time, I'm guessing you didn't tell you that you love him yet?" Ino guessed.
Sakura giggled. "Nope, I didn't."
Ino walked up to Naruto and pushed his gaping jaw back together. "Idiot, stop acting so surprised. If she didn't love you then you'd be fat on her ass by now."
Sakura rolled her eyes at Ino's words...even though they were kind of true. "Ino's right Naruto, I love you. It isn't that hard to believe is it?"
Naruto opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by another knock on Sakura's door.
"Again?" Sakura groaned. This time, Sakura wasn't entirely sure who was on the other side of her door, nor what their intentions were. So she quickly threw on a bath robe and opened the door.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
Just fucking great... Sakura thought.
There, standing in front of her on her doorstop...
