"I think the simplest solution is for me to carry you," Hermione said, her matter-of-fact tone masking any hint of awkwardness.
"Carry me?" you echoed.
Hermione nodded, already moving to collect her school bag. "It’s just temporary, of course. But carrying you in my bag could be too jostling, and we can’t risk you falling out." She hesitated, her cheeks tinged pink, before continuing briskly. "The most secure place would be… under my robes. This way, you’ll stay close, and no one will notice."
"Under your robes?" you asked, your voice incredulous.
"Yes, Harry," she said, her tone a mix of patience and exasperation. "Don’t make this harder than it has to be. It’s the logical choice."
Before you could argue further, Hermione crouched down and carefully gathered you up. Her movements were deliberate as she adjusted her robes, ensuring you’d be hidden from view.
"You’ll be secure like this," she said, tucking your legs carefully into the waistband of her panties, which stretched to accommodate your small frame. Your back rested against her abdomen, and her robes draped down to conceal you entirely. The warmth and softness of her skin against yours were impossible to ignore, and you felt your face flush deeply.
"Hermione, this is—"
"Efficient," she interrupted, her tone firm. "And it’s only for class. Now hold still, Harry. I don’t want you wriggling around too much."
With that, she adjusted her robes once more and straightened up, her usual composed demeanor firmly in place. "There," she said with satisfaction. "Perfect."
As she strode out of the common room toward the first lesson, the rhythmic motion of her walking jostled you slightly, but Hermione seemed completely unbothered. She chatted with other students as though nothing was amiss, her expression calm and confident.
For you, however, the experience was anything but normal. The intimate placement left you acutely aware of every movement she made, from the subtle shifting of her hips to the gentle pressure of her thighs against you. It was both mortifying and oddly comforting; despite the strangeness of the situation, you couldn’t deny that you felt completely secure.
When you arrived at class, Hermione settled into her seat, careful not to disturb you. She opened her textbook and began taking notes as if nothing was unusual, her focus unwavering.
"See, Harry?" she murmured quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is much more convenient. You’ll get used to it."
You sighed, resigned to your fate. Hermione always had a knack for getting her way, and you knew better than to argue. Still, you couldn’t help but wonder what other “practical solutions” she might come up with in the days to come.
