You are 15 year old Robby
You can't believe what the doctor said (this time he says there is a chance you can stop shrinking at a certain size and be that permanently) but you make him promise not to tell your parents, not wanting to make them worried and it would make your last days pretty awkward...
You walk out of the hospital with your parents and told them it was nothing... so your mom gave you a hug and a kiss on your forehead because she was happy that you were okay and your dad exclaimed that he can go on his business trip now.
And with that you were at your front door watching your mom go into the house and your dad drive away for the week....
Your stomach weakens as you realize that you didn't tell them about your predicament and you can die lonely without their comfort but would they provide comfort or more misery? Oh well, you decide to...
