All her life Barbara wanted to protect the innocent like her father or Batman but thanks to the Joker she would have to spend the rest of her life in a wheel chair. She was still able to help Batman and the other superheroes as the Oracle and at one point she had her own team with Huntress, Black Canary, and other superheroines. Now she was reduced to sitting in front of a computer searching for new crimes to alert Batman of. She thought things couldn't get worse for her but she was wrong.
Since she spent all her time at a computer Barbara had let herself go. She didn't have time to keep herself in shape or to cook healthy meals so she had to feed off of junk food. With Bruce funding her she was able to order as much food as she wanted. It helped comfort her and take her mind off of her condition. With the Birds of Prey disbanded she was alone most of the time so whenever she got a bit of gas she let it rip and didn't mind if it was loud since she was the only one that could smell or hear it. She got used to the smell and didn't even care about the weight she gained as well.
As time passed she continued to eat and she gradually got fatter. None of the other heroes knew since all they saw of her was a disembodied head and not her flabby body. The Oracle didn't have time to focus on her appearance because she was too focused on finding intel and letting her hatred of the Joker rise. While she never told anyone this but Barbara wanted to get revenge on the Joker for what he did to her. She hoped that Batman would finally put an end to that horrible man but everytime Joker broke out Batman just sent him back to Arkham Asylum. It was a vicious cycle that never ended and every time it restarted more innocent lives would end at the clown's hands.
Eventually the Oracle had enough. She had an epiphany one night where she realized that it was pointless to keep arresting the Joker or any of the supervillains; they would just break out of jail and never get their comeuppance. The Oracle wanted to unleash her own brand of justice without being caught. So she started looking up unique ways to end a person's life as her weight passed 300 pounds. Eventually she found a way to get her revenge. She found a fetish online called "Vore" and got the disturbing idea of devouring the Joker whole. So after getting her hands on some of Bane's venom serum and modifying it so that instead of giving her super strength it would allow her to swallow large things. Once she injected it, she felt a surge of energy go through her system and then looked at herself in the mirror.
While no physical transformations appeared, the woman that used to be Batgirl was long gone and so was her body. Barbara's body was blob of fat that would shock anyone who saw her. Her belly had rolls of fat layered on top of each other that draped over her thick knees and came close to touching the ground. Her breasts were bigger than her head and she stopped wearing bras since they kept chafing her and snapping. Her hips were wider than the entrance to her lair and she had to replace her wheelchair three times because she couldn't fit in them and her fat kept flowing out of it. Her butt cheeks were the size of two watermelons that were being flossed by her thong. Having gotten use to her fat and not moving around that much, the Oracle didn't mind and couldn't wait to go after the Joker. If her plan was a success, the Oracle would consider restarting the Birds of Prey and showing her friends the power of vore.
