The planet Sakaar was known as the "junkyard of the galaxy" and it was said that everything and everyone that went missing ended up on Sakaar. It was thought that the planet itself was made not out rocks and minerals but out of junk.
Sakaar was surrounded by numerous wormholes that let floatsom and jetsam through and ended up on Sakaar's surface. The biggest wormhole was called "The Devil's Anus" by the locals and the other wormholes were known by rather whimsical names.
Sakaar is the name of the planet as well as its chief city. There were smaller settlements here and there on the surface but Sakaar was the only real city that had anything that remotely resembled a government. The government of Sakaar had been a dictatorship for as long as anyone could remember. The Grandmaster ran everything on Sakaar by himself and his "advisors" who all were little more than puppets.
The population of the city was around a million. The total population of the entire planet hovered around two million.
The populace consisted of a mixture of species from across the galaxy and, perhaps, even beyond. This included humans, of course, but they were very much in the minority.
The only form of entertainment on Sakaar was the contest of champions which was held in a huge arena that could easily contain hundreds of thousands of people. There were no rules in the arena; anything and everything was permitted, no matter how outrageous.

Gwen awoke to find herself on the absolutely huge bed in the champion quarters. The bed was big enough for ten people but she was all alone this morning. That certainly wasn't the case last night when Gwen had a party to celebrate her ascension to champion of the games.
It had taken the young hero six months to become champion and it hadn't been easy, even with Venom on her side.
During the six months, Venom and Gwen had grown closer and more alike. Gwen had changed Venom and vice versa. Venom had been rather bloodthirsty and cared little for the preservation of life. Venom had absolutely no interest in food unless it was living and still preferred living food over cooked food but Gwen and the symbiote had made a few compromises. Venom had shown no mercy against fellow competiters in the games at first.
The changes in Gwen was quite dramatic; she now enjoyed in devouring her opponents whole and alive. Gwen even liked the feel of a squirming belly full of prey. She was also more considerate towards Venom and more tolerate towards Venom's numerous quirks.
The biggest change was Gwen's body; with each opponent that she ate, the more curvier the female hero had become. The changes in her body was the reason Gwen had slowly gained a fanbase on Sakaar. It took Gwen two months to steadily gain a fanbase. Gwen was getting more popular as the months went by. At long last, Gwen had gained the opportunity to fight the champion of the games, who had been a large fella by the name of Koranga. Koranga was one of those aliens that didn't come from the Milky Way at least according to him. Gwen didn't speak with the former champion all that much and now it was too late because Gwen had swallowed Koranga after what was the hardest fight that Gwen ever had.
Gwen climbed out of the bed and went straight toward to the bathtub to take her daily bath. As Gwen made her way to the tub she glanced out the window to see an unfamiliar sizable ship in the sky. Gwen stopped and just stared at the ship in the sky for a long moment.
Gwen continued her way towards the tub. She passed by a full-length mirror and she paused to admire herself.
Gwen had been a good-looking young woman but right now she looked radically different. Thanks to Venom's ability to send the food that it ate to anywhere on Gwen's body, Gwen had a hourglass figure; her breasts had gained at least four cup sizes and her ass was three times bigger than what it had been. It wasn't only her bust and butt that were different; she had a much buffer body with huge muscles all over. Some of her fans called her a goddess but that was a little much for Gwen's liking; she didn't see herself as a goddess. If she were a deity Gwen would've went back to Earth in a heartbeat.
Not that Gwen hadn't enjoyed her time in the spotlight. She was almost universally praised on Sakaar. Gwen now had fans in the hundreds of thousands, nobody ever called her a menace and she felt more love than she ever did on Earth.
Gwen approached the tub to see a little ferret-like alien lying on the floor beside the tub. The ferret was deeply asleep. Gwen had no trouble in recognizing the ferret.
"Get out of our quarters, Xander" said Gwen.
"The name is Xacandar" replied the ferret without opening his eyes.
"Whatever" growled Gwen. "just get lost"
"Is that anyway to treat your manager?" asked Xacandar.
"I don't need a manager," said Gwen. "I need a way to get off this godforsaken planet"
Xacandar opened his eyes and looked at Gwen while scratching behind his ear. "You and me both, babe. Just go and have a little talk with The Grandmaster and sees how he'll take that"
Gwen glared. "Don't call me babe. I'm not your girlfriend"
"You wound me!" mocked Xacandar.
"I just don't date outside my species" replied Gwen.
"You lack imagination" said Xacandar, smiling widely.
"Do you actually want me to eat you?" asked Gwen.
"Xacandar does look delicious" said Venom via a mouth that had opened up on Gwen's middle.
Xacandar scowled and said, "I won't be much of a meal for you, o mighty champion"
"Don't you try to sweet talk me" said Gwen. She paused and then stepped into the large bathtub which was ten feet and circular. Gwen wasn't naked per se as her lower body was all Venom. Gwen relaxed in the tub simply enjoying being in the water.
Silence filled the room for several long minutes. Xacandar moved from his spot to the window as a shadow was crossing the room.
"Whoa, who's ship is that?" asked Xacandar to nobody in particular. "Sakaar doesn't get a lot of visitors you know"
"I'm new to space so I wouldn't know" replied Gwen.
Xacandar continued to watch out the window. He appeared to be deep in thought.
"Who would even come here?" asked Gwen.
"I don't recognize the ship's design" said Xacandar slowly. "looks vaguely like a Kree ship"
"Aren't the Kree the shapeshifters?" asked Gwen.
"You're thinking about the Skrulls" replied Xacandar. "whatever you do, don't mistake a Kree with a Skrull.....they really don't get along"
"I can't keep track of all these races" said Gwen.
"Neither can we" put in Venom.
Just then the door to the spacious quarters opened and in walked a guard. The guard was about eight feet tall and built like a tank on steroids. The guard had a fancy-looking sword at his hip and he wore the uniform of an elite guard which marked him as a personal bodyguard for The Grandmaster himself. The guard surveyed the room before he spoke.
"His Excellency has requested your appearance, champion"
"I'm in the middle of a bath here" snapped Gwen.
"This wouldn't be about the ship in the sky, is it?" asked Xacandar.
The guard nodded once and said, "Taneleer Tivan has decided to pay his friend a visit"
Normally, an elite guard wouldn't answer any questions unless it was to The Grandmaster. However, that didn't apply to the champion of the games.
Gwen had a lot more freedom than any of the lowly slaves in the arena, as evidenced by her getting her own quarters.
"Who?" asked Gwen as she climbed out of the tub.
"Tivan" said Xacandar. "AKA, The Collector. What does he want, I wonder"
