It didn't take Peter that long to discover that the drawer that Felicia had pulled out the infinity gauntlet was still open. Peter jumped down to examine what was in the drawer. He did it more out of curiosity than anything else. As it turned out there was nothing worth noting what was in drawer. All it had was a few scattered papers and a Swiss army knife. Suddenly, Peter's spider sense kicked in and not even five seconds later he definitely heard several footsteps approaching the desk. Peter placed his headpiece back on his head and zipped up out of the drawer and landed on the desk.
Peter looked around to see that someone was sneaking their way towards Felicia who was still in a trance. Whoever it was wore pink clothing with two swords on her back....and Peter was reasonably sure it was a girl due to her build. The girl took another step forward and let out a small gasp. When the young woman spoke Peter was strongly reminded of Gwen Stacy due to the voice being almost similar.
"Felicia Hardy has the infinity gauntlet?! Okay....not exactly who I expected. I mean, why specifically her and not, I don't know, Emma Frost? Now she would make a pretty cool god. Because she has ice powers? Eh, not my best quip ever. Uhh.....gotta come up with something better. Uhh....I guess you could say that she has a.....okay, you know what? Not all of us can come up with a Crusoe line right off the hip like that. Coming up with quips like that are really Peter's forte. Oh....don't tell me that Drez chose Peter Parker for this storyline?! Really?! You just had to go with Mister I give up my marriage to Mephisto to save Aunt May?! And they STILL haven't retconned that trash of a story! Makes me think that the only good thing that JMS did was Babylon 5"

"Are you actually defending the man who also wrote Sins Past?!"
Peter frowned and wondered who the girl in pink was talking to because there wasn't anybody else that could've spoken in the room.
(( Well.....no....but, damn it, sometimes good writers are allowed to write bad stories. ))
"And you aren't guilty of that! You repeat yourself way too much! Starting to write like Frank Miller"
Who the hell was Frank Miller? Peter didn't know anyone by that name.
((Now you're just being nasty. If I truly wrote like that hack you'll be a whore talking about wanting to fuck a building))
"Let's just go back to the story before you make me do a gag about me reading the letter from Sins Past like Linkara did with SFDebris"
Peter made the decision right there that the girl in pink must be mad due to her talking to thin air and making absolutely no sense.
((*sigh*))
"Gwen? Is that you?!" Peter called out to the girl in pink.
. "Not quite" replied the young woman looking around to see Peter on the desk, "I'm the Unbelievable Gwenpool! Mercenary for hire and all-around good.....oh! Let me guess; Felicia shrank you with that gauntlet. Maybe you aren't so useless after all"
Gwenpool walked over to the desk and reached out for Peter. She stopped short of grabbing Peter as she glanced over at Felicia. Gwenpool seemed to change her mind about plucking up Peter and started to pull at the infinity gauntlet. Peter decided to stand there and wait. He wasn't exactly rooting for this Gwenpool (whoever she was) to get the gauntlet because she just babbled nonsense. Besides, Peter wasn't in any position to stop what was happening due to his shrunken state.
Gwenpool managed to pull the gauntlet down significantly. The gauntlet was about half-off of Felicia's hand when Felicia woke up to see that somebody was attempting to pull off the gauntlet!
"Who the hell are you?!" asked Felicia as she managed to slip the gauntlet back on. Gwenpool backed up with both hands raised in a placating gesture as she quickly made an apology and added, "I just couldn't help myself"
Felicia blinked. "Gwen Stacy? No....you're not her"
"I just came here to see who got the infinity gauntlet in this storyline because Drez established..." said Gwenpool.
"Who's Drez?" asked Peter.
"Nevermind that now" said Felicia as she glanced at something (or someone) that wasn't there.
"I'll just be leaving now" said Gwenpool who made to walk away.
"Hold it!" commanded Felicia. Gwenpool's body stopped moving in mid-step. It took Peter a moment to realize that Felicia had used the gauntlet to stop Gwenpool from moving...but she was still breathing and her eyes moved around.
"Oops, I didn't mean to paralyze ya" said Felicia, releasing Gwenpool from that state. "just how did you enter my hideout when all the doors are locked?"
Gwenpool looked around. "Where's your crew?'
Felicia blinked. " My....what? I'm a solo act. I prefer it that way"
"That answers that question" said Gwenpool.
"How did you--?"
"Teleported in?" suggested Gwenpool. "It's my power"
"From where?" persisted Felicia.
"From the X-Men mansion" said Gwenpool. "they were, uh, testing out a new device they got from the.... Shi'ar Empire"
((Just tell them the truth....and I don't intend to bring in the Shi'ar Empire))
"You stay out of this!" snapped Gwenpool to thin air.
"Forget where she came from," sighed Peter. "will you just unshrink me already?"
A mischievous smile came across Felicia's face as she slowly turned her head towards the miniscule Peter. When she spoke there was a purr in her voice, "Beg for it, spider"
Peter just stared at Felicia. "Seriously?"
"Seriously, little spider" replied Felicia.
"Now this is getting interesting" said Gwenpool with a smirk coming across her face.
"And what if I, you know, don't want to beg to return to my normal size?" asked Peter.
"You do realize that you're talking to someone that can move planets" said Gwenpool before Felicia could respond.
"Among other things" said Felicia.
Peter sighed and thought it over. He wasn't in any position to refuse Felicia. Felicia was pretty much the only person that could unshrink him...with the possible exception of Hank Pym. Wait. Didn't Hank went missing a few months back? Last that Peter heard from any of the Hank hadn't been seen in six months. It was like Hank had vanished from Earth.
Peter had been so deep in thought that he had failed to notice that Gwenpool had moved right next to the desk he was standing on. Gwenpool had bent down in order to see Peter better. Her face was just about level with Peter.
"Ah, at least give me some personal space here!" exclaimed Peter.
Gwenpool grinned as she took a step back.
"What'll it be spider," inquired Felicia after giving Gwenpool,a long look, "would you swallow your pride and beg me to return you to normal size...or will you spend the rest of your life as the amazing spectacular shrunken Spider-Man?"
Peter had no desire spending the rest of his life as shrunken. Realizing he had little choice and, figuring that he ought to do the thing properly, Peter cleared his throat before he got down on his hands and knees.
"Please, I beg of you...my lady, I humbly plead that you return me to my normal size"
"Well said" said Gwenpool.
"I would rather keep you at that size, spider...but since you asked nicely..." said Felicia with a slight frown on her face. She was rather hoping that Peter would call her "goddess" instead of "my lady" but a deal was a deal.
Felicia plucked Peter up from the desk and set him on the floor. Using the gauntlet Peter was returned to normal size.
"Pity" said Gwenpool. "I liked him when he was small"
"Thanks" said Peter to Felicia. "who were you talking to in the astral plane?"
"Jean Grey" replied Felicia.
"So, that's why I was at their mansion...." mumbled Gwenpool.
"Jean Grey? I thought she had died" said Peter.
"Apparently, Jean was resurrected by --" started Felicia.
" --the Phoenix Force!" squealed Gwenpool. "that must mean that Drez is reading those Phoenix comics!"
Both Peter and Felicia looked at Gwenpool with bewildered looks.
