As far Joanna knew only four people knew about her condition: he rmother and two of the three people she'd dated. The first boy she dated found out and panicked and left her. They talked it out later and he assured that he kept it to himself. Whether it was because he was actually considerate or because he didn't want anyone to know he'd been with her, she didn't know or car. Then, the second girl she had dated had found out and been mostly ok with it. In end, the two seperated for mostly mutual reasons.
Joanna used to be shy about it. She kept to herself, tried to go to the less used restrooms at school, and dress more tomboyish than she wanted to. Anything to keep it hidden. However now that she was older, recently she turned 18, she was growing more accepting of it. Between her own rising self confidence and some things she found on the internet, Joanna was trying to be more confident about that part. Not that she was flaunting it or anything.
