"Let me help you look for them, Denise." James offered his older friend. "It's the least I can do for you, since you're letting me use your shower."
Denise's face softened with gratitude. "Oh, pumpkin. You're an absolute star, you are." She sighed softly. "But I've already looked the whole house over twice. I just can't find 'em anywhere."
Then an idea flickered in her eyes. It was a flicker James knew all too well. "But maybe... you could be 'em for me, pumpkin. Would that be alright? I can pay you."
James' expression turned conflicted at the suggestion. He felt he owed it to her, seeing as she was letting him wash himself in her bathroom, and for all kindness she had shown him during their history together. Plus, his hormonal, teenage side was quite keen on the idea of being so close with Denise's divine, voluptuous body, and there was next to nothing that could make them closer than being an article of her clothing - expect, maybe, being eaten by her, but while he had dreamt of that occurrence once or twice, he was far from ready to do it in reality.
On the other side, there was still a bittersweet taste in his mouth from his experience with Chloe yesterday and today. It was the taste of sweat and washing soap, and it still lingered in the back of his mind, an unpleasant reminder. Plus, if she got carried away, he could miss out on his chance to ask out Maya today.
Eventually, he decided. "Okay, Denise. I won't charge you if I'm allowed to use your shower afterwards. But I need to be human again in an hour; anymore than that and I'll be charging you double the standard rate."
"Deal, sweety!" Denise exclaimed as she held out a hand for him to shake. He met it with his own, and the deal was agreed.
Pulling back his hand, James decided now to address the elephant in the room. "So... What is it you want me to be?"
