“Oh wow. Congratulations!” exclaims the second woman on the phone. “You should come over. I’d love to see him.”
“Sure!” your captress chirps. “I can come over now.”
“See you soon!”
With that, they hang up.
“Ma’am,” you stammer. You know she’s stated her take, but you still hope you can change it. “Please take me to the authorities. I think I need medical attention and have a family.”
