Shrink ray accident Shrunk in an airport chapter 9 by Louka31

"Well, can you keep a secret?" the woman asks.

"Of course Sydney!" replies Jessica. "You're my best friend after all."

"Remember how I got that internship at that lab here in town?" says Sidney.

"Yes" says Jessica.

"I was returning from a 'business trip' of some sorts where I had to go to a lab on the other side of the country that is a partner of the one I'm working at" says Sydney. "I had to pick up an experimental shrink ray and bring it back to my lab so the scientists there can take it apart it and figure out how to make more. It's disguised as a phone."

"Wow" says Jessica with uneasy laugh. "Why would anyone invent a shrink ray?"

"I don't know." replies Sydney. "That information is above my paygrade. Anyways, the shrink ray malfunctioned while I was carrying it and it shrunk this little cutie here by mistake. I couldn't let him, or anyone know about the shrink ray so I nabbed him while he was out."

"Oh my God!" exclaimed Jessica. "That's quite the story! What's going to become of your little friend? I imagine you're going to take him to your boss to try to get him unshrunk, right?"

"Well...." says Sydney in a sly tone.

You look up and see her smiling down at you.

"That was my first thought." she says. "But as I thought about it I kept thinking about how adorable he is. I also started thinking, If I had a boyfriend at his size, he would have to do everything I say and he could never leave me. So, I decided to keep him as my tiny boyfriend"

You're eyes widen and your heart nearly jumps out of your chest in shock when you hear what this woman said to her friend.

"You can't do that!" you shout up at Sydney. "You can't just keep me as your tiny consort!"
