“We don’t have to if you’re too tired from the flight,” Megan’s sister began. “But there’s this nice restaurant that opened up a few months ago, if you’d like to check it out.”

“That would awesome,” Megan answered. “I’d love to try any place that’s opened since I left for college.”

“Good. It’s actually around the corner.”

Once there, they continued chatting, about the regular topics: their parents and the rest of the family were doing, updates about various childhood friends, and finally boys.

“You know, speaking of boys,” Megan stated. “I have someone I wanted to show you.”

“Ohh, what’s his name?” her sister cooed. Megan reached into her purse, and her sister probably assumed she was going for her phone. Instead, she grabbed you and plopped you onto the table.

“Look what I found on the way back home,” she squealed. You laid on the table, dumbfounded taking in your surroundings. After your eyes adjusted to the light, you see that you were on a restaurant table between two gigantic laminated menus.

“Is that a doll?” her sister replied. She looked a fair amount like an older version of Megan, but she looked a little taller with a skinnier frame and shorter hair.

“No, it’s a tiny person,” she explained, poking you in the stomach to activate your reflexes, showing you were alive.

“A what?!” her sister reacted in bewilderment.

At that exact moment, the waitress came over, “Welcome to Frankie’s. I’m Carla. Do you girls know what you’d like to drink?” The waitress also looks at you as wince on the table from Megan’s “innocent” poke. It seems like you’ll have to wait until after they finish with the waitress to learn what her sister’s response is, but what happens next?
