You slide around as her hand sloshes through the purse. Suddenly it all stops, and you look up to see a woman locking eyes on you. She’s a brunette, about the same age as your original captor. Her fingers with newly done green fingernails reach right for you.

“Oh wow, so I was talking with a tiny person!” Rebecca exclaims, palming you as she brings you to her face.

“What are you talking about?” Pam asks, slightly startled. “How did you know about him?”

They are standing on the moving walkway exiting the airport.*

“I called you as you took off, and he answered,” she explains. “But I thought you were just playing.”

“You’ve got to help me,” you begin. “She’s kidnapped me, and I need to get home.”

Your plea gets ended suddenly as they reach the end of the walkway. Rebecca looks up to see when she needs to start actually walking again.

“Hey, put him away,” Pam warns. “We don’t want anyone to see him with us. We can get him out when we get back to your place.”

You look at Rebecca pleadingly. What does she do?

* As a side, the fact that people stand on a moving walkway is a weird feature of the English language: kind of like driving on the parkway and parking on the driveway. English can be a strange language.
