Not a moment too soon... Shrunk in an airport chapter 6 by Louka31

Just as you're about to enter the woman's maw, she stops eating and slowly pulls her fork out from her mouth and brings it up to her face. You let out a sigh of relief, seeing that the woman definitely noticed you. She looks at you in total disbelief, her eyes are wide and scanning every bit of your tiny form. As she holds her fork that has trapped you, she uses her free hand to remove the spaghetti and pluck you off the fork and place you in her open palm. She puts down the fork and cups you in her hands before looking to see if anyone is around. Not wanting to the world to see that she's holding a little man.

"Are, are you a tiny person?" she askes in disbelief.

"I shrunk." you reply bluntly.

"H-how did you get so small? What were you doing in my lunch? I almost ate you!" she says in a loud whisper.

Her hot breath as the strong stench of spaghetti and tomato sauce that almost overwhelms you but you try to stay focused.

"I have no idea how I got this small. But a stewardess found me and tossed me into your bowl. I imagine she wanted to see you eat me. By the way, thank you for not doing that." you smile, trying to make light out of your pickle.

The woman looks and sees a stewardess walking hastily away, no doubt the one who threw the little man in her food.

"You're welcome. I imagine you wouldn't taste too good anyway" smiles the woman, giggling at her own joke.

You laugh too trying not to show that you're afraid.

"Can you please help me? I can't imagine I'll last very long on my own." you plead
