You decide that it wasn't worth the risk, she may not be quite so amused if she caught you trying to escape again. You figure that Anne's mom can't be too malevolent given the fact that she took you away from her daughter because she thought her daughter couldn't take care of you. You hope that maybe, just maybe she will help you instead of keeping you as a pet, which was implied when she first saw you. As the plane takes off, you try to find some thing in the purse to keep yourself secure. Luckily you find a little pouch on the side of the purse and you stay there for take off.

As the plane levels off, you feel a sudden jolt as Anne's mom retrieves her purse from the bottom of the seat in front of her. You feel your leathery prison being elevated slowly before you feel a soft thud. You realize you're on Anne's mom's lap after she gives her purse a slight pat with her hand and bounces it on her knee. Any hope of escape is dashed, realizing that Anne's mom will not let you or her purse out of her sight.

Knowing that there's nothing you can really do at the moment but wait, you stumble through the darkness and find something soft in your captress's purse and try to relax.
