“Why should I trust you?” as you ask the tanned, black-haired Queen with robes resembling traditional Hindu costume.

She pets you with her finger. “If you don’t want to do it, you can stay as a honored guest. But personally I want to be a champion of liberty so taking down the Empress and restoring you to your previous condition are both part of the same end goal.”

For some reason, this puts you at ease. “I’ll do my duty for Liberty and the Queen.”

“Good,” she says, “here is a belt, a sword and a scabbard. Poke the Empress with the sword and she will be struck with a magic poison whose curse will end her!”

The Queen paused. “I know you and Leila got off on the wrong foot but think of the three of us as best friends. No need for formalities—I’m Parvati, she’s Leila and we will use our art magical to keep you safe! Accordingly once the Empress is struck, you will arrive back here, from where you will be discharged to your home!”

You bow, “Thanks, Parvati.”

She kisses you, “My little hero!”
