Sternly, she says, “Now you’re #1,000 of my slave-soldier regiment!”

In spite of everything, you laugh in her face.
“Slave soldier? Ma’am, I’ve been shrunk and even at normal size lack the magic all of you seem to have.”
The fairies had had mixed experiences with capturing wild humans and training them to be slave soldiers. Oftentimes they remained tiny and without magic. Units of such slave soldiers were fit mainly for parade drills and war games befitting a lady of war.
But with the right magic, fairy women could enlarge slave soldiers and infuse them with magic for battle against the enemies of their ladies. Afterwards, the ladies could safely shrink them and drain their magic. It saved resources and greatly shrank (pun intended!) the risks faced by the Crown of mutiny.
Of course, the Crown found that the Armed Forces was expensive in terms of pixie dust. Sometimes the Queen questioned Emilia about whether she could gain pixie dust for the Crown by marching a slave-soldier regiment across a table and allowing the women sitting on the side-benches to pick a little darling of their choosing or perhaps a little (pun intended!) collection. Each of those women would pay a fixed fee in pixie dust per tiny!
