A suggestible mind Shrunk in an airport chapter 16 by Louka31

The woman's eyes widen ever so slightly after your sudden outburst up at her, and you notice the corner of her gentle smile twitch in subtle frustration. Evidently, she was not expecting to meet this level of resistance and determination when you had so meekly curled up in her fingers mere seconds ago. While she quickly hides her surprise under another pitying and condescending smile, you're encouraged by her momentary lapse of composure. If you're going to have any hope of convincing this manipulative, belittling woman to release you from her clutches, the first step has to be getting her to stop treating you like a simple pet.

Gazing down at you, casually resting a palm on her cheek, the woman smiles calmly and says nothing for several seconds. You meet her gaze with a challenging glare, scowling at your gigantic captress in silence. While you're still naturally scared for your life from everything that's happened so far, you feel a newfound sense of confidence and boldness in that moment. Nothing this woman can say could possibly convince you that you belong as her shrunken pet, you think to yourself.

After what must have been at least thirty seconds of simply watching you and shifting her idle gaze around the rest of the luxurious first class section, the woman's adoring grin fades into a more serious, piercing smirk. She keeps you at eye level, stares directly into your eyes, and takes a quick breath (a warm, minty gust of wind that whips your tiny body) before speaking once more.

"Well, I stand by what I said before," she says in a seemingly casual tone. "You won your freedom to do as you choose, and a deal's a deal. If you really want to get back to your old life, I'll help you get back to your family when we land. Promise!"

You don't move an inch. "It's my life," you repeat firmly. "You will be taking me back to my family. End of discussion."

Unfortunately, your commanding tone seems to do nothing to extinguish her confident grin. She leans in closer, pityingly shaking her head. "But that's not what you really want. Is it?"

"W-what the hell?! Of course it--"

"Think about it a little, cutie," she interrupts, flashing you a patronizing, mocking pout. "You say you want to have your own life again... but you were seconds away from melting in ecstasy in my hands just now. Completely willingly, I might add."

Your cheeks flush an intense shade of red in sheer indignation, but you do your absolute best to stay calm. A temper tantrum would only play right into her hands and strip your dignity even further. "That's a total lie," you state evenly. "You saw how exhausted I was after that grueling challenge of yours, and you took advantage of it to lure me into a hypnotic trance. Anyone in my place would have said the same things I did. I can assure you, from the moment you picked me up off the purse and started whispering in my ear, every single word I said was entirely your doing."

"Ahh, you think it was all me, do you?" Unfortunately, the woman's smile only grows wider, and she giggles amusedly at your statement. "Well, cutie, I'm honestly flattered you think I'm skilled enough to bend anyone's mind to my will. Hey, maybe someday I really will be able to turn men into my little pets with a couple honeyed words alone! But right now, I'm afraid the science just doesn't agree with your little theory."

"...science? What are you talking about?!" you demand.

She smirks with satisfaction, no doubt thrilled to lecture you on this subject. "Psychology 101. Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are amazing tools to better understanding the human mind, but they do come with a couple limitations to keep in mind. To quote my old psych textbook from uni: 'Hypnosis requires a willing, conscious choice to relinquish control of one's consciousness to someone else. To effectively induce a trance, the subject must be in a state of total relaxation, hold complete trust in their hypnotist, and hold an innate desire to follow the suggestions they are given during their altered state of consciousness.' You understand what that means, don't you, sweetie?"

The sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach comes barreling back as she finishes her explanation. "N-no... that's--"

With a quick tickle from her enormous, delicate fingertip under your chin and a triumphant grin, the woman continues. "Thaaat's right! If what you're saying is true and you really were in a trance... well, that means you felt utterly relaxed, safe, and content in my hands, doesn't it? You knew the dangers of being a tiny human in that big, scary airport had passed once you entered my possession. You trusted me enough to relax your guard and curl up in my palm. And you were willing and eager to let my soft, gentle words soothe you into submission, and invite you into your new role in life." She drops her voice from her previously babying coo into a husky contralto whisper, which you realize in horror must be matching the growing carnal pleasure she's experiencing in that moment. "I may have opened the door for you, but you're the one who stepped through, throwing away the last remnants of your old life and happily accepting a new fate as my adorable plaything. That's all you."

In just a few sentences delivered by a pair of life-sized, luscious red lips (dammit, you need to focus and stop thinking about those lovely, kissable lips!), you feel nearly all of your bravado crumble before you. As her words toll in your mind once more, it dawns on you that your captress isn't merely a possessive, domineering businesswomen; she clearly also has a working knowledge of psychology and hypnotism, and isn't afraid to use them to her advantage. This might be the most frightening side to her you've seen so far -- if you let down your guard for one moment, she could very well make it your last one as a free-thinking man and not a groveling pet.

Any control you might have had over the situation is rapidly slipping through your fingers, and at this rate, she'll be zipping you back into that horrible purse in no time if you're unable to counter her argument. And that's the last thing you could possibly want right now... right?
