"I guess will keep him" decides Kate, stroking your head with her finger. "I suppose it'll be nice to have a little companion

"Wait! You can't just 'keep me'! I'm a human being!" you shout up to Kate, batting away her finger.

The other two stewardesses giggle and Kate looks down at you with a serious expression.

"Of course you're a human, but whether you like it or not you're a tiny human now. Stacy is right, you need big people to look after you now. Since I'm the one who found you, you're my responsibility." says Kate as a matter of factly. "So until we find some help. I'm keeping you with me."

"But..."

"No buts" replies Kate. "Think about it. Your best bet is to stay with me. I will take care of you and make sure nothing happens to you. That's more than you can say if you were on your own or still with that scary lady you escaped from. You look like a smart guy. You see the logic in this, don't you?"

You can't really argue with her, you know she's right.

"Yes, I do" you admit. "But what if we can't find a way to unshrink me?"

"Well, then I guess I will keep you forever" replies Kate, with a smile. "I can't have you fending for yourself now can I?"

You can't help but feel annoyed. You don't want anyone keeping you, but you can't really think of any counterargument to Kate's flawless logic. As you think about what she said, Kate resumes stroking you with her finger.
