You reason that since your original intent in scrambling for cover was to rest and regain your strength, the extra time spent waiting for someone to stop and stoop might be to your benefit, while all the energy you would expend in attempting to climb the cart would be counteractive to the original rest. (Wow that's a long sentence!)

So, wait and rest it is for you. You wait....and wait....and wait. You almost begin to nod off, but then about ten feet away, you see it. A glistening water bottle, falling from the sky. You see it just as it starts to fall from the woman's hands. If you start now, you might have a chance to reach it before she bends to to pick it up. Of course, you'd have to cross ten feet of busy walk way to get there. You need to make a decision quickly, is this water bottle your saving grace? Or do you wait for a closer, safer option?
