"Well we just have to take this slowly." You say as you help her up and hold her arm over your shoulder.

"What?! Are you crazy?! Just leave me, she'll catch us with me slowing you down!" Jessica says trying to make you let her go.

"If I leave you here then she might find you and you'll be defenseless. We're in this together. Besides, if we take it slow move from one hiding place to another, then we'll be safe." You reassure her.

"You're surprisingly stubborn. Fine, let's go." She says giving in and letting you help her.
