“Hey wait a minute! Why should you keep him?” Asks Rachel.

For a moment you feel relieved. Jade’s friend doesn’t seem to think it’s right to keep a tiny human being as a pet.

“What if I want to keep him?” she says.

Your eyes grow wide, she only wants you for herself!

“Hey no fair! I want him to be mine! You two are just going to coddle him!” says Sarah angrily.

“Now hold on! I’m the one who found him so he belongs to me!” says Jade, tightening her grip on you.

“Who says you’re the one who’s best fit to take care of him? Have you ever been responsible for another life?” asks Rachel. “I’ve had many pets and I’ve babysat many small children when I was in secondary school!”

“How hard can it be? I just need to feed him, love him, and make sure nothing hurts him.” argues Jade.

“You two don’t understand the opportunity you have here! Let me keep him and I’ll show you!” says Sarah.

Your eyes grow wide in terror. While you don’t know what she means for sure by that you can’t take a good guess. You know it’s probably best to stay out of Sarah’s hands.

“Don’t I get a say in this? What if I don’t want to be anyone’s pet?!” you say indignantly.

The girls completely ignore you and continue arguing over who should keep you.
