The moment you yanked Pandora’s plug, you knew something had gone wrong. But standing there now, breasts heavy on your chest, jeans straining across hips and ass that weren’t yours an hour ago—you realized wrong was a hell of an understatement.

Still, work had to be done. You straightened your shirt, ignored Liam’s bug-eyed stare, and said, “Alright. It’s fine. I’m still me. Let’s just… get back to work.”

Maya burst out laughing, doubling over. “Oh my god, you sound so casual. Like you didn’t just sprout tits in front of us.”

“Yeah, well,” you muttered, “someone’s gotta keep this circus running.”

You marched out of the lab before anyone could stop you. Time to face the office.

Sasha looked up from her desk as you approached. She was always composed, always put-together. Now her curls bounced as her jaw went slack.

“Um… hi,” you said, waving awkwardly. “It’s me.”

She blinked. “I’m sorry, who are—” Her eyes widened. “Wait. You?

“Yep.” You tapped your chest. “Pandora backfired. I’m… like this now.”

Her gaze swept down and back up. “Holy shit.” She clapped a hand over her mouth, then giggled. “Sorry. Just—wow. Your ass is insane. Like, cartoon insane. Can I say that?”

“No, you probably shouldn’t,” you said flatly.

“I mean, I’m still gonna say it,” she replied, smirking.

You sighed. “Fine. Let’s pretend this conversation never happened.”

“Not a chance.”

Dr. Harper, head of HR, studied you over her glasses, expression unreadable. “I see. So you’re telling me this transformation was… involuntary?”

“Yes.”

“And permanent?”

“Not sure yet.”

“And you retained all your previous memories, skills, and authority as project lead?”

“Yes.”

She scribbled notes on a pad. “Do you require a new ID photo?”

You stared. “That’s your first concern?”

“Regulations require up-to-date identification.” She tapped her pen. “And new bathroom assignments. Unless you’d prefer unisex facilities?”

Your face burned. “I’d prefer not having this conversation at all.

Harper nodded seriously. “I’ll draft the paperwork.”

You found Marcus in the break room. He glanced up from his coffee, frowned, then froze.

“...Who the hell are you?”

“It’s me.”

He stared. “No.”

“Yes.”

“No way.”

“Marcus.” You leaned forward, breasts pressing against the counter. His eyes followed, helpless. “It’s me.”

His mouth opened and shut. Finally, he muttered, “Rough deal, boss.”

You blinked. “Are you actually being nice to me right now?”

“Don’t tell anyone.” He downed his coffee and left before you could answer.

When you returned to the bullpen, half the staff was already buzzing with whispers. You decided to address it head-on.

“Attention,” you said, clapping your hands. “Yes, it’s me. Yes, I’m a woman now. No, you can’t touch. Everyone clear?”

Silence. Then applause. Actual applause.

Someone whistled. Another voice called, “Looking good, boss!”

You pinched the bridge of your nose. Maya leaned against the doorway, grinning. “Told you. You’re a hit.”

Liam shuffled close, cheeks burning. “Uh… you look… um…”

“Spit it out, Liam.”

“Beautiful,” he blurted, then fled before you could react.

Maya cackled. “Oh, he’s so in love with you right now.”

Back to Work

By the time you sat at your desk again, you’d reintroduced yourself to half the building. Everyone stared, everyone whispered, everyone wanted to know what it felt like.

And through it all, you kept repeating: “Yes, it’s me. Yes, I’m a woman now. No, you can’t touch.”

Still, every sway of your new hips reminded you it wasn’t just a joke. Every time you sat down, the curve of your ass felt different in the chair. Your body hummed with a strange, confusing energy you weren’t ready to unpack.

But work came first. Always.
