Unfortunately for Diana, her trip through the city was met with more scathing remarks as she unintentionally destroyed more public and private property. This time however she couldn't hide her wince as while stepping through the streets she accidentally stepped on a statue if the mayor for his re-election campaign.
"That's not good." Diana commented as she raised her foot to see the stature was now little more than rubble, add to that chunks of it were stuck to the bottom of her foot as well. Without thinking she scrapped her foot along the ground, which in tern caused her to punt a defenseless through the air.
The crash that fallowed brought her attention to what she'd just done. "Sorry."
"Be more careful next time you dame klutz!"
"Get out of the road!" Another driver honked.
"Mommy, is the mean giant gonna kick us too!" a child asked.
"Just don't look at her Billy."
All around her Diana could hear the negative statements beginning to pile up. Oh the news was gonna have a field day with this one. She could already see this moment added to their, ''What has Dianazilla Destroyed Today'' segment. Talk about adding insult to injury.
The voices continued to insult her until the blaring of sirens caught everyone's attention. The police! Were they there for her!? She was too big to be arrested hence they never tried, but who knows, maybe they figured out a way?
Everyone turned their heads towards the sound only to see the red Dodge Charger speeding by with three squad cars in hot pursuit. They weren't there for the giantess, they were after criminals that could actually fit into a prison cell.
The next thing everyone heard was the sound of gunfire. The individual or individuals in the Charger were opening fire on the police!? In broad daylight no less.
Diana saw all of this transpiring thanks to her size and wondered if she should intervene. She'd never tried to aid the police before and that maniac behind the wheel was swerving all over the road like a drunken roller-skater on ice.
If she did stop them, then would the people look at her different? Would they accept that she did something good for them? She did work construction and deconstruction jobs from time-to-time. So just maybe...
