It was complete chaos...

complete pandemonium...

Why...

The largest apartment complex in the city was on fire. The crowd down bellow had broken into a fit of gasps, cries, and panic. One of the oldest structures in the city had become a unforgiving furnace spewing out spoke and flame as if it was it's natural purpose.

Firefighters were quick to wall off the civilians and try to keep the peace as their men did their best to cull the flames. The water helped to clear a path to the door and the men in black wasted no time bringing the door down. As they did, flame burned to life as if daring them to enter.

Inside had been completely consumed by flame, it was like an inferno leading to the gates of hell. "Get back, it's still too hot!" one of the firefighters ordered.

"Blast it with more water!"

The civilians watched as the crew from the firehouse flooded the halls. The H20 snuffed just enough flames for them to enter, though everyone outside felt nothing but fear and worry for their safety.

The News crews pulled up a minute later, late to the party due to traffic. A man and women leapt out of the News van to try and get a sense of what was going on.

"Trinity Moss here with breaking news! As you can see right behind me, Japan's oldest and largest apartment complex it lit up like a grill at a family barbeque. From the interviews I've gotten from the locals, no one knows how this blazing inferno came about. All we do know is that the fire is spreading fast and the local fire department has already entered to try and save as many trapped victims as possible--"

The News crew was suddenly cut off by a huge explosion from a middle story balcony. Everyone began to scream as glass and debris fell to the ground below.

"Keep calm!" A local officer called from a megaphone. "Do not panic! Stay strong and trust in your heroes!"

That seemed to calm the crowd a little.

"Trinity Moss here, their has just been an huge explosion emanating from the middle floor. No one know how or why, but the damage is substantial. As you can see, the hole left behind gives us all a clear view of just some of the structural damage. We can all only hope and pray no one was hurt in that blast. I'm Trinity Moss, and the Disaster News will remain on the air brining you this exclusive coverage."

------

All the way across town, the black smoke of disaster could be seen like a beacon. Auskazilla knew that beacon of trouble well considering her experience with them.

This was her bat symbol that something was wrong in the world...

And she'd make sure she solved the problem.
