If there was one thing Auskazilla loved just as much as her monster status, it was playing in the park with adoring fans. To her they were the absolute best and what really reaffirmed her love for the monster archetype she embodied.
They were her everything outside of her family and even gave her the nickname everyone knew, which is why she went out of her way to be extra good to them. Like right now as she sat in the park while her peers used her as a jungle gym.
She smiled brightly as her fans used her hair as a rope swing, or tried making her leg into a slide. Honestly it didn't get any better than this. Just nonstop laughter and happiness. The way it should always be.
Auska even did her famous roar for them as she knew they'd love it. Unfortunately her self proclaimed number one fan Mayl Keioha wasn't here. Normally the girl was at the park whenever she was around, but today she was surprisingly absent. Maybe she was out with her family or something?
Oh well, maybe she could set-up some personal hang out time with her the next time she saw her. Out of everyone she enjoyed her company the most when playing. The two of them could talk for hours on end about monsters and clothes.
Auska was broken from her thoughts when she felt something poking her foot. She looked down to see another one of the children smiling at her. "Auskazilla!? Will you play hide and seek with us?"
She loved hide and seek. "Sure. The usual rules?"
The girl nodded. "Mmhmm! You count to a hundred while we hide. The big oak tree is home base!"
"You're on." Auskazilla cheered as the last of the children rolled down her body like a slide.
"Great!" The girl smirked. "We'll all win this time! Everyone... SCATTER!"
And just like that everyone ran off in different directions as Asuka closed her eyes. She was undefeated at Hide and Seek and wasn't about to let her record be broken. There were ten kids in all, and she would find them.
"You're all toast!" Asuka hammed. "The big bad monster is gonna getcha!"
