While Maydora and her family continued to enjoy a nice lunch, the trio were suddenly interrupted by a shrill cry for attention. All present turned their heads to see a man in a blue suit sprinting towards them.
The man's face was red from the exertion of running and sweating profusely. He had even doubled over and started panting once he was close enough.
"Sir, are you alright?" the mother asked.
"Yeah, where's the fire?" the father added.
The man simply continued to wheeze, "Situation... downtown.... need.... help!"
"What's going on downtown?" the mother questioned as her husband tried to fan the man with his hands. Even Maydora looked a bit worried for the exhausted guy.
"Bank robbery earlier this morning. The police chased down the crooks and cornered them in the old Acme warehouse downtown. So far the robbers are holding the police at bay and no one can get in. We need Maydora's help."
The husband and wife duo looked a little nervous while their daughter gained a sudden look of determination. "Mom, dad!? Tell the crowd the show will have to wait, there's trouble downtown!"
The couple reluctantly nodded as their daughter quickly took off, leaving behind a small pile of burgers and a large crater.
As the pair watched their kaiju daughter charge off they found the man seated on the ground taking a bite of the leftover food. From the way he was wolfing it down it was clear he hadn't eaten at all today.
"Sorry but, who are you?" the father finally asked.
"Oh? How rude of me." the man said, realizing he hadn't introduced himself. "My names Kenta! I'm the new police deputy. It's my very first day on the job so, I didn't have your number on hand in case of emergency."
"Oh." was the unanimous reply.
