Sakurai could admit that he was in fact a very petty man, though he would never say it out loud, a while he did think of Tanaka like a son the man could sometimes really get on his nerves. He was such a square and unable to think outside of his little box. High risk could net high rewards and you'll never know what you can really succeed at if you don't try.
Hence why he needed to blow off some steam while simultaneously getting some work done. He could pick Haruka's brain for some ideas for Atsuki and piss Tanaka right the hell off with the kaiju girl's mere presence. His plan was so foolproof it made him giggle. He really should consider giving himself a raise. It was long overdue.
Haruka held him in her hands like a porcelain statue as she walked through the city streets, while the people down below took pictures and asked for autographs. This was great for his image as his outward endorsement of the giant girl made him more popular among the people of Japan.
He and Girl-Zilla talked for a while before the bar that Tanaka liked to frequent came into view. It was a nice little establishment that was American themed and from what he remembered from the few trips he'd taken there himself, the drinks were decently priced. "That's the bar Tanaka likes."
"That one?" Haruka asked. She'd seen that bar before on her trips but never thought too much of it. To her it was just another building occupying space in the city.
"Yep, that's the one." Sakurai confirmed. He hoped Tanaka was still there so this trip had a little something extra to it. That one-eyed stick in the mud was going to be so pissed. "Ready to pay the good general a visit?"
Haruka smiled. "Ready as I'll ever be. I wonder if he ever made that Iron Man armor he was telling me about? He said it would allow regular people to fight giant monsters when it was finished. I don't believe it though."
Sakurai rolled his eyes. He'd heard Tanaka talking about that too but he ignored the idea as it sounded like nothing but comic book nonsense. "I don't believe it either. Come on, let's go irk a general."
Haruka giggled mischievously. "Let's."
